U.S. Soccer announced it has ruled against allowing MLS to remove its first teams from U.S. Open Cup and replace them with teams from MLS Next Pro.
ICYMI: MLS had announced that they would not participate in the US Open Cup (The US version of the FA Cup) and instead have their B teams participate. This did not go down well.
