Now that’s an insider tip! 🙂

Thank you. Also for directly linking it. Installed Chip Defense straight away. Am curious. 🙂

Here is one that is quality and engaging if you like a good story:

80 Days

Great suggestion. Thanks!

I got it. What a masterpiece!

I am tempted by Backpack Brawl. Their data collection practices put me off a bit, sadly.

Thank you for the suggestions!

You’re a superstar! Thank you!

Pretty much, yes. Recent versions and maybe developing screen sizes.

Never heard of Assembly Line 2. Thanks.

I forgot about Holedown. So addictive! I always wish it were longer.

This is so basic, it is creative. 😄

Privacy respecting “Charades” game for Android
Hey everyone, I'm on the hunt for a charades-style game for Android that works offline and respects my privacy (i.e. no ads, no trackers, and no analytics). With "Charades" I mean a "Heads Up!" clone or something like [this](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.artgamestudio.charadesapp). I've checked F-Droid and GitHub but haven’t found anything that ticks all the boxes. Most of the ones I’ve seen either include some tracker or haven’t been updated in a while. Genuinely asking for a friend. 🙂 Does anyone know of a project like this?

YMBAB is just so addictive!

I will check it out. 🙂 Thanks for the recommendation.

I definitely played this one more than I should.

Awesome. Thanks. This will take a moment to go through. 🫣

Idle Elemental (Play Store)

Oddly satisfying. And has an ending.

Awesome.

Here is another that I found recently. Awesome little gem. Hoping it will get saving capability at one point, but it’s great as is:

Tessel (F-Droid)

Best vertical games on Android?
I'm looking for Android games that are designed to be played vertically (portrait mode). Could be casual, action, puzzle, roguelike, or anything really. Best if it can be played one-handed. Paid or not doesn't matter. Feel free to exclude the pay-to-win crowd. Still, name 'em if you feel you have an excellent exception.

Nah, UI was good… ish.

But that’s where the downwards spiral began. Remember the online activation?

You can.

Question is “why”? Because these basic things you can do with Linux. And do it better, because Linux usually uses less resources.

And you get the needed security updates.

I actually liked Windows 10 for some reasons.

I truly hate Windows 11 for numerous reasons.

I enjoy running Linux.

See you around, Windows. You broke up with me.

It is you, not me. I will not miss you much.

It is. But dreams are what future realities are made of.

Pretty much everyone, or at least many people, will need this eventually (although it is likely shortsighted of banks to lock into a system provided by one or two companies HQ’d in the same country).

So I hope a solution will be found. But this is just one of the issues why a Linux phone isn’t quite there yet. At least not for me. Wish it were.

Thanks. It looks like a start, an enthusiast’s phone.

For now. Here is a review.

It clearly needs development. But it has the potential for greatness. Banking apps really need to work, for example (as much as I hate banks relying on phone 2FA or some banks only having an app apart from a feeble website).

If truly wish that were the way forward.

As it stands, name a good one that works with current apps and isn’t a battery hog. 🤷‍♂️

Just when I thought that I cannot possibly hate Google even more, I see D. Veloper.

Are we judging people on what they did and said over 10 years ago? If so, then that says more about the one judging than the one judged.
