The only down side is DP Alt mode is optional and must be enabled and supported by the internal controller and system. In order to do that, you might as well just go full DP at that point and somehow I don’t think the manufacturers are gonna spend more money on that. Most likely the USB-C port only supports a mass storage class device.

You did a pet peeve of mine….
255% growth is really easy when the numbers are so small.
I worked at a place once where they were celebrating a new product because “it had 100% growth!” and ragging on another because it only had 0.5% growth and was obviously dying off.
Thing was, the product with 100% growth went from something like 200 to 400 customers, so it was technically 100%, and the 0.5% one added 800 customers but already had something like 160,000 customers so 200 customers would have been a rounding error to it.
My point is, don’t just focus on the percentages when you’re dealing with such large disparities, it can be disingenuous.

Here’s a simple one. On PC, a lot of games let you use the keyboard/mouse or a controller. On some games it’ll switch the prompts to the layout of the last type of input you used. However I tend to use a controller for everything, except I’ll use a mouse for more fine tuned control since I suck at aiming with a joystick. But then what happens is the input notifications switch to keyboard/mouse and sometimes don’t switch back.
I’d love to see an option to force which input style gets displayed on screen. Keyboard/Controller/Auto

From my understanding it is basically VoIP which rides the data connection encrypted back to the phone carrier. This has advantage of not being able to be hijacked by cell tower interceptors like StingRay. This basically means that it’s much harder for governments and other entities to spy on phone calls since it’s part of the data channel and not the “voice” channel.
Bandwidth wise, I’m not as certain but it could have impacts there if they don’t have QoS correctly configured.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong?

Recent game music almost sounds too cookie cutter. It’s like movie music. It’s just… there. It used to be you could remember not just main themes but ancillary ones too and you can thank John Williams and Nobou Uematsu for that, but seriously how many recent games or movies have iconic standout soundtracks?

So how long until celluar providers also say you have to have a trusted device to activate your SIM? Apple, Google, Samsung, automotive and Windows would be fine and they’d probably allow their branded or limited hotspots.
This would basically eliminate any Linux option (pc or phone), and DIY devices. I could see other OOB vendors getting on board to be certified to have a certificate issued to them.

Glad I only started playing a couple weeks ago!
