I came to say the same thing. Been looking for my next gaming tattoo and this looks fit to be a permanent piece of my body art!

The DLC is akin to existential horror and I’d argue it’s why the option to tone it down didn’t really help. That feeling is intentional and plays a huge part in the lore of the DLC. The original game is learning to get over your fear of death. The DLC is a tale of what can happen if you give everything to prevent that mortal inevitability! I recommend approaching the ‘horror’ the same way you approached the end of a cycle.

trying hard not to spoil anything

I don’t think I said anything spoiler-ish. Let me know if you don’t think I succeeded.

$ScriptDir = $ThisScriptPath if ($ScriptDir ≠ $GameFilePath) { Set-Path $GameFilePath }

Stop spying on me! I do to IDEs what common people do with browser tabs.

Ahh yes, the same approach I have to script development: multiple files, in different places, for different platforms, all with the same code!

Right? Capitalism gotta capitalize on all that capital, sitting around in our bank accounts, when it could be sitting around in THEIR bank accounts!

Wouldn’t it be funny if the reason they bought EA was because there’s some die-hard Saudi zoomer who loves games, has a butt load of money, and wants to make great games. Maybe they do a 180° on some of their best IPs and lower the price to make gaming more accessible to more people. It’s what I would have done if I had more money than I knew what to do with! A girl can dream. <3 <3

Now we’ll get those actionable regressive values! FUCK YEAH!
