Is it currently possible to background transfer a game install from external HDD to SSD while playing a game? As far as I recall the PS5 did not allow that early into the system’s launch.

Not to simp for Sony, but if it is possible then I don’t think NVMe disk space is a massive issue. The system at least has a 10gbps usb-c port for external drive transfer.

I’m not very inclined to take at face value what a studio founder has to say about a service that might make them less money, and might save their customers money.

Nobody is forcing studios or publishers at gunpoint to release on a subscription service.

That is bloody awesome, thanks! I’ve probably got close to 1500 hours in the game across a few accounts. I definitely need to fire up BF2 again.

Where and how?? I thought EA and Gamespy shutdown the server trackers and shutdown the community server tracker.

The soundtrack sounds utterly delectable already. It’s getting harder to temper my hype for this game.

Unfortunately I still doubt Ubisoft won’t somehow butcher this project with some heinous mentization schemes.

I agree with /u/9point6 above. This type of game is less marketable for add-on content.

For what it’s worth, many latest generation shooters work with Mouse and Keyboard on PS5 and Series consoles.

Good question. Having not played the PC port myself, I only know that it was addressed by the studio (and/or publisher?), and that people stopped talking about it after a couple months. I personally concluded that the game must’ve been fixed to some degree.

YES. PLEASE use that time to optimize.

Hopefully Last of Us Part II shares enough of a code base with the PC version of the Part I remaster.

Arrrr… I’ve no qualms about bequeathing me trove of ill-begotten e-booty, if ye take my meaning!

Yea, eventually the sour smell of garbage overwhelms the sweet taste of member berries.

I think there was some contractual obligation to produce two seasons, the 2nd of which was already in production before season 1 even aired.

The novelty of being one of the first online, somewhat massively multi-player persistent rpg, was very special for 2000-2001, at least for the minimum wage earning, console-only teen that I was.

Did you play it online, and was the community active in GameCube? (Was it cross platform with dreamcast?)

I played the shit out of pso episode1 on DC, but sisnt have access to a credit cards, or funds for that matter, for episode 2.

It’ll run on Unreal Engine 5 at a cool, cinematic 24-30fps with an exhilarating 85ms input response time and 12fps 1% lows. I can’t wait.

Just remember that with game pass growth, more attention will be put on the xbox ecosystem overall, including the xbox launcher & marketplace app. So I’m not sure games are more likely to go to Steam than before.
