Thats my biggest gripe with Paradox’s games. The game feels incomplete without the DLC, but it’s so jankily built and integrated that even with it it still feels weird. Plus they put out a new one like every 3 months…

Fwiw, I’ve played through almost the entire remaster and only started having issues towards the end, just a bit of typical Bethesda “let the modders fix it” Software save crashes.

At least they gave up pretending to put the whole game on disc since they’re unplayable without a 60gb+ day one patch anyways…

I didn’t play it in a group, but you guys might like Grounded. You’re tiny people exploring a backyard, and you’ve gotta harvest stuff like blades of grass, pebbles, and bits of candy/leftover food. Has a decent progression to it, I think.

I swear I read that a lot of them already are, just need some minor tweaking if any.
