They don’t go out of their way to break it, they just don’t pay attention to it (yet). There was an interesting interview here a few months ago: https://lemmy.world/post/32441387

Does 1 get better? I have 1 and 2 from a bundle years ago and started the first game. It’s sooo boring, like all the bad stuff from an mmo but single player. I don’t want to walk from a Hub to place A multiple times and just the spawning mobs change based on the quest.

Or if 1 doesn’t get better, can I play 2 without losing to much?

Interesting, my devices always come without OS. And on preconfigured Windows for family first thing I do is wipe it to get rid of all the bloatware it comes with.

They didn’t release it again. It got delayed and delayed, then optimized for the Switch and released on both consoles at the same time. It runs bad on the WiiU and you can see that some game mechanics where designed with the 2nd display of the WiiU in mind but then got stripped down to work on the Switch.

Nintendo fucked me over with the WiiU and Zelda BotW… won’t buy anything from them ever again

So you’d say that the answer to “how far can you throw them” and therefore also to “how much do you trust them” would be… “not at all?”

Off topic: Kyle was one of the few CPU testers besides Ian of Anandtech (much later) that recognized the Utility of running benches at 720p to remove GPU bottlenecks. HardOCP is missed to this day.

This sounds so logical today it’s mind boggling that others didn’t come to this conclusion.

How can you post a screenshot but not linking to the game? Anyway, congratulations!

Edit: Nevermind, found it, was already on my wishlist!

Check out heat signature, i loved the concept
