
Slime boi was the best prenerf, then still the best post in my opinion. I used radahns swords and he used to spam the shit outta of the gravity weapon arts. Stupid good. But even after nerf he still did it in clutch moments and the times we both use it together was just glorious.

This is exactly the point! I wish i could have explained it in this way years ago. Git gud means you gotta put in the work to learn the enemies area and bosses. I have beaten all fromsoft soul games besides bloodborne :(, and i am by no means the best player. Yet i git gud and beat every one of them to full completions.
But dont ask about my death count.
Idk about a lot of grinding unless you plan to do endgame stuff in less then 100 hours. The combat is pretty fun to at least me and theres litteraly a million things to do. I loved setting up my worker empire and seeing my estimated storage vaule go up and up. I picked it back up last week after 3 years for the new console version. Is it very everyone? No. But that’s the case with anything.
Naw go in blind, its pretty simple in the start. Of course you’ll need the wiki later when you’re trying to figure out what to do, but getting to hell and letting a demon drop its stuff right into the lava is a blast the first time when you have no idea whats coming.
After beating the game 4 times it all becomes second nature what to do. But the journey to get there is so much fun when you’re first starting.

You gotta think to the degree of control the ps2 had is very much a drop in the bucket to the sensitivity of new controlers. I think they have complicated things to much so a ever so slight drift which used to not even register is now being picked up.
The biggest thing all consoles could do is make a dead zone calibration tool. It would allows people experiencing stick drift to reduce the detection of movement prolongibg the life of a controler

Yeah it was a 4 person dungeon crawling game type. There was a bunch of classes with more restrictive skill trees then the main game,typically you joined a lobby then chose classes based on each other to make sure there were at least one of each of the 3 class archetype mage warrior thief to be able to unlock all treasure rooms.
They were not huge dungeons, but it was divided into 3 parts with varying objectives, with a monster rush at the end that was so intense on the higher difficulties that you would end with a loss unless you faught together more then half the time. Well besides a couple OP buileds if you got really good item drops.

I haven’t really played mmos since around 2010. But as far as i know, there was always pay for gold and items for sell. It was waay more sketchy though. I played wow and a bunch other when i was a teen. I played with my older sister, and she paid for shit in every game we played. Underground selling had been a thing since the beginning of online games. Btw microtransactions have stolen money from farmers and botters that sold items and gold for profit.

Estimat 5 million players at 15 a month for subscription that’s 75 million monthly 900 million yearly. Idk how the game runs, idk if there are a lot of microtransactions nor do i know how much the expansions are. But alone at nearly a billion per year wow is a huge success. When they bring it over to consoles and have another surge in profits microsoft will be all smiles.

Microtransactions arent the game though. And none of whats for sale makes a bit of difference to the game. Not to mention everything you can buy is in the game already, it wasnt taken out or put behind a paywall.
Do you also rate a game negatively if they have a battle pass? What about other capcom games like the resident evil remakes where you could buy the unlocked infinite weapons for 5 dollars? Do either take away from the actual game? No, no they do not.
Its still not great, i agree, but it doesnt make a good game bad just because you think its scummy. I say this, but i do not have the game nor will i be getting it. Not because of people online crying about a nothing burger, but i just dont have a system strong enough to play it. If i did, i would because i loved the original game.

So these are just speed up purchases that you can get in game? Seems scumy but not a deal breaker. There were what 3 or 4 easy port crystals in the first game, and to get the the max you had to keep restarting the game or playing it over and over. And once you knew where you were going and had some port crystals in good spots, you could get through main story in less then an hour. You have the chance to easily get multiple of any item. If its the same or similar in the sequel, why waste money, unless you have limited time to play games or maybe you’re just not into sinking dozens of hours into anything. Honestly its stupid, but as long as no one is blocked from getting the items in game this is such a non issue.

Elden ring dungeons and dungeon bosses did get kinda samey. But god i did not care, there was a list of i think 120 bosses in the game, and i had to be sure each and every one got murdered. I honestly hope this new dlc is a window to the past and the whole ass map gets reused to form the new lands, and we get another 120 bosses to slay.
They’re not buying the game theyre supporting it to get it on game pass same as they did with palworld. I dont see anything wrong, right now.
