Personally I’ll avoid sending any Western money to the Russian economy that I can. BSG has been able to weasel out of political controversy thus far…but it’s a milsim, the devs are probably more pro-Russia than not, they’re just smart enough to keep their mouths shut and keep accepting Western patronage.

Base World and base Rise both had quite weak endgames as well. Rise was literally unfinished at launch. It only really takes off as a complete experience once the paid expansion comes out (not title updates).

I remember playing Ghost Recon (no tagline) back on the Gamecube, probably not the appropriate game for my age.

It was definitely a slower and more grounded game back then, or at least as much as a mainstream game could be back in the early 2000s. And first-person.

I haven’t powered on my switch in years, but when I used it, 99% of the time it was docked with a TV, so the battery life and screen didn’t matter to me. I would think that’s the best setup for family gaming anyway.

The cartridge/download code is a step down in ownership of your games, but that’s been a lost battle for years. Steam is widely seen as the standard for gaming, and you are only buying a conditional license when you buy a game on that platform, you don’t own those either. This change only really matters if you, personally, rip games from disks/cartridges.

That goodwill can change in an instant, especially if they are releasing a competing product, and especially if the legal team gets in the loop rather than the development staff.

I think 2 is technically the better game, but it is marred by its mtx and really half-assed support after the studio got shaken up.

I honestly have no interest in the 100% future setting of KF3. I like the weapons modeled after real ones, not the LED schlock of the HMtech or whatever.

Saudi Arabia-owned Scopely Inc.

Are they buying it for the business opportunity or the massive amounts of geolocation data to assist in kidnapping and murdering women and dissidents around the world?

Rumors are that, aside from being a major engine overhaul, they’re looking to do a soft reset for R6Siege to attract new users reset their monetization scheme

There’s not just no money in it, they see incentive in killing their old products thoroughly in order to better sell their new ones.

What sort of work you do in those boots, out of curiosity? I wouldn’t have made that bet when I was a machine operator, those shits were soaked in coolant with stainless steel chips embedded everywhere.

There are fan projects like 2009scape that you can play for free.

The only thing Bethesda is motivated to do, frothing, absolutely chomping at the bit, is figure out a way to successfully monetize modded content.
