Hi
I’ve never played It Takes Two but SSX is a fun snowboarding game, the whole Skate franchise is super fun just to mess about with- the movement mechanics are really smooth, and whilst I didn’t personally get on with it but Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (which is a bit like Jet Set Radio,) it also seems to have a similar vibe - in terms of movement at least.
Edit: just watched a video of the part of It Takes Two you were describing and it definitely gives me SSX vibes

Been enjoying playing Vampire Survivors on my SteamDeck, it’s surprisingly fun for its simplicity and barely uses any battery.
Also just started Nova Lands because I heard it was a good gateway game to other automation games. It’s pretty chill. Unsure how fun mid to late game progression is but I’m enjoying it so far.

If franchises count then the Skate trilogy because I ended up hyperfixating on it. The controls are perfect and the vibes (especially in the first 2 games) are immaculate and really being me back to the early 2000s. They’re the main reason I have a PS3 that I use regularly tbh.
If not then Minecraft Java Edition because it’s so easy to play with friends and there’s tons of mods and ways to play the game.
Edit: not sure if I misunderstood the title, if it was asking about 2025 releases then disregard this lol

Minecraft - Was my absolute childhood and I met so many good friends and learnt a lot throughout my time playing the game.
Skate 2 - The controls are perfect, the vibe is amazing, it’s just one of my overall favourites.
GTA V - The first R rated game I played. Both this game and Fallout 3 were massive inspirations for me focusing on 3D environments as a Game Dev student.
Honourable mention to Little Big Planet and Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe; both of which absolutely shaped my childhood
I love that there’s a cat in the game!
