What’s to stop Americans from simply not accessing the download link from the US (e.g. TOR, VPN)? Will it work if you side load and use it within the United States? Or do you have to run geolocated outside the US?

If this article is even moderately accurate, then this is hard to digest. I didn’t realize that Russian electronic warfare was so advanced and capable. It seems to be having a significant impact on Ukraine’s efforts and bodes very poorly for them. The article didn’t address how they can counter Russian EW capabilities, if at all. 😖

Yet something else to disable in Windows. I’m losing track of each thing at this point.

When you add it all up, it makes more sense. I honestly think i spend little time in vehicles compared to most people though–a side effect of working remotely most of the time. And even when I do wait, I typically read a book, check out Lemmy, Duolingo, etc. I can see why some folks might want to play a game on the screen. Provided that it only ever works while parked, it makes sense.

Yeah, my vehicle has a small screen with GPS that works the same way. Locking it down while driving is the way to go in preventing accidents and deaths. Tesla though… they seem to be pioneers when it comes enabling distracted drivers. For a moment, I thought they were allowing gaming while auto drive functions were enabled.

can only be used while parked.

This clears things up. I imagined gaming occurring while driving which is a problem for obvious crazy and ethical reasons. Silly me.

What throws me off now is the apparent waiting that occurs. I’m interested in EVs, but I didn’t imagine the amount waiting. I presumed this was only for road trips. But… based on the comments I’ve seen… people just seem to spend a lot of time waiting in their cars for all sorts of reasons? The kind of waiting where gaming apparently makes sense? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Makes unfortunate sense. I was also hoping somebody figured out how to liberate it, but I imagined it might be highly tied to the Google app.

  • ChatGPT 3.5 isn’t bad.
  • Copilot is… undecided.
  • Gemini I think I like the best in the realm of free AI, but I need to use it in a separate browser (Firefox nightly) and would prefer an app or even a PWA.

Anyway, I felt confident this was the case but people surprise me with how they can manage freeing apps and/or providing separate frontends altogether.

Gemini App w/o Google App and forced Android login integration?
Is there any way to install and use the Gemini App without the Google App and forced association of the account with my Android phone? I have a specific Google account just for Gemini, but I neither use the Google app nor desire for my phone to maintain this alt google account as one of the phone associates accounts. I think many folks would prefer login stay within the app itself.

No worries.

And there really isn’t a whole lot to elaborate on. I simply want to be able to attach a telephoto lens to my OnePlus 11.

I know third party solutions sometimes require a special case, which I’m open to, but the only popular one I found didn’t have a case for this model phone.

Any recommendations on “most phones” variant?

OnePlus 11 Lens Attachment?
Could anyone recommend a OnePlus 11 telephoto lens attachment? My searches are coming up dry so far.
