Genshin shows odds, Valve shows nothing.

Genshin directly shows you the stuff, Valve has a slot machine like animation.

I have students who play both Genshin and CS2 and spending money them. In Genshin they spend to get a character they want, in cs2 is to try to make money…

And casinos can hardly be honest given the couple of time I read about cases in which a customer wins at slot machine and casino claims it was faulty.

While game may looks meme, its mechanically sound and thought out. Hell, quest descriptions are good enough(yet to find any problems myself) to finish them without looking them up.

It runs well through Proton, no anti-cheat and game itself is cheap enough.

when you die you just go get your loot

Unless you set difficulty to Extreme or in custom

But yeah, competitor in name but it copies quite a lot of Tarky elements and it adds some comedic elements.

If you want bigger ships than fighters:

Rebel Galaxy(its completely different compared to RG Outlaw) - big ships, can hire a single mercenary, combat for you happens in 2D and its more of naval style with broadsides and automated turrets.

Between the Stars - you have a spaceship with a crew and can also hire 2 more ships to help you out(once you gear them), game got plenty of quests with some puzzles to boat, “ground combat” which is using dice(or can be disabled completely) and space combat takes a bit to get used to.

The Crew(2014-2024) lasted a bit more than Anthem (2019-2026) . And Ubi seems to stick for longer with their flops compared to EA.

The only good part of TL3 were the classes.

TL3 as MMOlite had an “interesting” idea with the campaigns having different ideas and some dynamic events on maps. Then they went with SP and just stringed the campaigns one after another so you have to regear quickly after the zones… and then final boss IIRC does all 3 type of damage and you just sigh if you get that far.

Valhalla is such a weird beast in the narrative. I just completed the base main story and then end was kinda… awkward.

At the end of it I still havent uncovered the leader of the order, hell I think less than half of the members are part of the main story. I like that each region was its own thing and the pacing was fine though in writing nothing was really groundbreaking. Replacing side quests with the smaller mysteries was also a good decision but OH MY LORD, can we be done with the modern world or maybe get a team to release a walking sim that resolves it and just go make “historically” - based games with checklist open world.

If a game gets delisted from the store you can still download it if you have bought it. On GOG’s discord they have a channel to warn when a game gets delisted.

can add Loop Hero and most of Kairosoft games.
