people who don’t work like at all beyond what they are contractually obligated to do

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. Why do you frame the workers doing the work they’re paid to do as bad?

That’s just every single thing ever sold and marketed to children. No company has ever given half a shit about children’s wellbeing. With that said, what part about them buying a skin to show off to their friends hurts their wellbeing?

I see it as as much of a problem as cheap toys from Toys r’ us. The kids love them for about 30 minutes, then they break and that’s it (the toys that is). But does it really matter? Just because something is digital, does it really make it worth less to the children?

If you don’t care enough about the game to participate in the vote, why the hell should your voice be taken into account anyway?

Good for them. However, pay to win being removed is just not enough for me to play that game again.

There’s EOC which somehow makes for more boring combat than the old school combat.

But mostly, it’s just so incredibly overfilled with shiny, blinking crap. There is no “empty” places left, no where that just looks normal. Everywhere has fucking portals to other realms, pools of energy or wisps or whatever the fuck, or literal fucking gods just hanging out. It just feels so incredibly claustrophibic to play, like everything everywhere is trying to get your attention and placed as close as a horder’s stash. It’s like if ADHD was a video game perpetually on cocaine. Just walking around from town to town feels exhausting because of the amount of shit on your way.

In a coop game? They’re going to wait nomatter what, if not, it’s not really a coop game, if coop isn’t needed.

I quite like the singleplayer mod. Also the devs apparently support the russian invasion of Ukraine, so don’t give them your money anyway.

I don’t like kernal level, but I’ll give it 2 weeks, and all the cheats and cheaters will be back.

Hope I’m wrong though.

That’s about as expected. As a big fan of civ, it just looked like a worse version of 6, which was a worse version of 5.

Only reason for the bigger playercount of 6 is because of Sean Bean’s incredible narration.

How much shit do you have open??

I have multiple chrome windows open with a shitload of fans, excel, word, even other games, and I still haven’t run out of memory for any game with 32gb.

I just generally need more games I can just quickly play. Why do I have to spend 30+ minutes just to play anything? I love Rocket League for the ability to quickly do a few games with the friends while we consider what to play.

I just tried it, and I don’t know what it is, but it just feels so boring and empty. Got my money back through steam though. Guess I’m going back to d2r if I want to scratch that itch.

Just looked at their website. Is this “game” solely populated by rich people?

Diablo 2 ressurection seasons don’t actually get new content though. It’s just a wipe.

I’ve been reading a lot of comments that make it sound like portal is a new thing, but it was in 2042 too and was incredibly underwhelming. Did something new happen with it that I don’t know about?

Also ksp2 didn’t have half the features ksp1 had. So much was missing from the game that it made no sense to play it over ksp1.

Just clear the CMOS.

I had issues aswell where I couldn’t boot, and you wanna know why? Because I didn’t follow the step by step instructions EA tells you to follow. Follow those instructions, and it’ll work just fine.

You’re right. Us, the consumers, will only ever benefit from more competition for our money. Also, the people who wanted to buy Horizon already did, if they like the theme and playstyle they may also buy this other one, but it’s not like Horizon is losing buyers on this.

Don’t get me wrong, I hope it does, but realistically the EU will likely just ignore the petition by giving a quick no vote and continue with their lives.

I am so fucking tired of gaming, could someone for the love of fuck get rid of my healthcare?!?!?! I wake up, gaming. For lunch I game. Dinner? You guessed it, gaming. At night I just constantly game. I don’t know how I get out of this, but at least my health is fucking fantastic!

I think it’s still a bit too new for that.

I don’t really agree with that. My reason for grinding agility was never to get stamina back faster, but to get the shortcuts. Once I got the ones I needed, It became about getting to 99.

And with the amount of people with 99 in agility now, there is absolutely no clout to chase. Hasn’t been for 10 years really.

It’s also not like it was made easier to 99, it just got less shitty having a low level.

There were other bands in the 80’s than Guns and Roses and ABBA?

I don’t mind very punishing death mechanics, but when pvp is involved I absolutely hate it. I play more than the average person, but when some sweaty ass pvp’er who plays 80 hours/week shows up, it’s just never going to be any kind of competitive fight. There is no way I will ever be able to do anything against that kind of player, and I’m also not in any way interested in trying. I like pve, not pvp.

Here in Denmark we need the government 2FA to pay for our stuff online. It’s an extra identity check on the credit card to make sure the card hasn’t been stolen. We don’t do government vouchers here, because we have a very good safetynet based on a salary from the government if we’re jobless. Kinda like UBI, but you only get it if you don’t have a job, so not entirely UBI. The rate isn’t anything good, but it’s enough to survive.

Our 2FA is used for by far most things. Like if I want to login on my phone carriers website, I’ll use the 2FA. Need to check up on my taxes? 2FA. Sign legal documents? 2FA. The way it works is, I’ve chosen a username which I write on the website login page, no password is used here. Then I open the 2FA app, login, grant access. If I try to login to a website on anything else than my phone, I need to scan a QR code displayed on the website aswell. This way I only need to remember the password for the 2FA and my username. We haven’t had any issues with security in this system in the 4,5 years it’s been online.

It’s a pretty good system, if it’s any interrest it’s in Denmark.

My government 2FA can’t work on those OSs. Could get a physical device that shows the code, but that’s nowhere near as practical. Without that 2FA I can’t pay online, check mail from the government, login to my bank, move my adress, change my phone plan. Everything is set up through the 2FA, which is convenient as fuck, and super safe, but requires either Apple or Android.

My tv is 4k, but I exclusively watch 1080p movies and series on it. I’m not going to double my subscription costs just to get 4k streaming, and most piratable files are 1080p.

I felt I was taking crazypills. In what world does this headline and article not scream "These games are ruining lives because of extremely manipulative marketing tactics.

I assume the people who took this article as a personal attack are part of the 19%, but doesn’t want to realise they have a very serious problem.

I only really know about this danish company. but they usually claim to be able to build a thorium reactor in a standard sized shipping container.

I may remember wrong, but IIRC they can run on the spent fuel from conventional nuclear reactors, since there’s still an incredible amount of energy left in it.

There is apparently also litterally no chance for a meltdown because it will simply shut down.

So even if we say they’re only able to produce half the amount of power that a conventional nuclear plant can do with the same footprint. It’ll still be easier to find the space for them, they’ll be better waste-wise, and also be a lot safer.
