I thank Xbox Live Arcade for introducing me to Trials HD. Even though the latest game wasn’t the greatest game ever created, the series as a whole has been a joy to experience.
I used to play the flash games of a trials theme and always thought a fleshed oit game would be really cool. i was right. :p
It has a good charm and humor. Easy to play on a whim and easy to stop and come back to (like at work :p ). Is fairly short but has decent replayability.
I played on Deck.
Back when i played Hearthstone (briefly) my friend and i woulf pass until the 10th turn and then try to one-shot eachother before the other is able to.
I was just forced to update at work and i haven’t stopped bitching about it since!
A couple other complaints:
- I’ve been a top-taskbar person for a long time and now it’s locked to the bottom.
- Also the emoji picker isn’t as easy or efficient to use as it now requires extra inputs.
Funnily enough, the combat was one of my favorite parts of the game. It was super satisfying and worked really well. Getting into gnarly battles and nailing the combos was so good.
I had a commisioned piece for one of my DnD characters once. I think it’s on my PC somewhere. Super cool and highly recommended for any kind of character you care about.

It will all slowly devolve into ads and bots on the mega-sites and we’ll have enthusiasts writing their thoughts for free out of their love of the game on the places like Lemmy.
