Initially it made a lot of sense though. The differences between each fifa version between the first one and 2003 were massive with each iteration. But as the graphics got better and better and the gameplay was more or less settled, it became less sensible to have a new edition each year. After fifa 2003 there were noticeably less differences between the iterations.

Hasn’t that been in development hell for almost a decade by now? I check up on it maybe once a year or so and there never is any progress. Last I remember the script writer basically said the source material is too diverse and expansive to create a coherent script that translates well to tv and still gives you a proper sense of the scope.

The report found that illegal downloads and streams can actually boost legal sales of games, according to the report.
This is the real kicker and something that has been observed many times over the years. It makes sense too. If something is really good, people want to support it and will look for ways to support the creators. It’s basically free advertising. People who can’t afford it aren’t going to support it anyway whether they pirate something or not.
I’ve had W11 at work for well over a year and had the explorer freeze happening for the first time yesterday. I don’t think it’s a big issue. What frustrated me the most is that credential guard broke mschapv2 authentication, forcing us to change the wireless authentication to certificate based but we’ve had non-stop issues with that.
During testing this didn’t even register because it doesn’t outright break the authentication flow, but (according to the official Microsoft documentation) it “might” break it. So after introducing W11 we started getting people where wireless worked fine one moment, and then it would disconnect and refuse to reconnect. Reinstalling the NIC drivers solved it for some time, but inevitably it would happen again, but sporadically and no obvious reason for it.
So we switched to EAP-TLS as per Microsofts recommendation and it has a whole range of new issues, mainly frequent re-authentications. We deployed a temp wifi now which is just password based to figure out wtf is going on, but this issue has been the bane of my existence for months now.
