What does antimonopolistic action in the 2025 USA look like anyways?

A common comment I saw across the board was “I wish I could play it again for the first time” and after beating it I totally get it

Below zero was such a disappointment overall. I liked the characters and some of the story but… The vibe was totally off. I liked exploring islands and alien bases in the 1st one but spending the entire latter half in an icy wasteland just had me feeling sour. If I wanted Antarctica I’d play that, I want to be UNDERWATER dammit. Here’s to hoping they learned their lessons and make it closer to subnautica but bigger.

I’m playing the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect 2 after beating 1 last month. Between that, I’ve been slogging through Bravely Default after figuring out Netpass on my homebrew 3DS to build the village.

I remember being in the US Army Infantry group and using a forum to plan attacks and defenses and to get rezz’d.

I ended up getting Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, Sonic Adventure 2, Prey, Daemon X Machina, and Dragon Age 2. I have no regrets in my eclectic sale impulses hahaha

The anime style cutscenes go SO HARD, I’m totally down for more games in this new universe, full stop.

Been trying to get into final fantasy XIV because of a friend. Kind of fun and I like that I can customize the HUD and the control scheme between the in-game systems and the steam deck controls. I feel like I’ve tried MMOs in the past and didn’t enjoy them, but this one seems all right.

Beat Red Dead Redemption 2 last week, started playing FF7 Remake (I never really got into the original and missed the hype train) and Elden Ring (with a seamless co-op mod to play with my best friend). Love playing FF7 like a kingdom hearts game it really makes the characters shine gameplay wise. I’m attempting to do a magic build in Elden ring but all of my Souls builds end up tanky and heavy hitting so its weird trying something so different.

How do you like it compared to the first? Loved fallen order but holding off on Survivor until there’s a good sale.

I’ve been bouncing between Red Dead 2 and Cyberpunk (don’t have the new DLC yet though, was going to clear all the base gigs first). I love the open world whiplash I’m getting between these two amazing character driven stories.

Seriously the assumption of free time that corpos have for their consumer base is WILD, but it just feeds into the ‘must have 100% market share’ mentality that drives the culture as we lose every shred of our living moments on anything but living
