Now I have never heard the term tap tap game, so I might be thinking about different typs of games, but I think of those where you for example run forward and tap/swipe to dodging obstacles and when you fail you are prompted to buy powered ups/extra lives to continue and you buy tickets to get skins.
Aren’t those buy power ups and know what you get and lottery for cosmetics? Making it loot boxes and microtransactions.
Or am I misunderstanding what typ of games you mean? Perfectly possible as I haven’t heard the term, and I don’t play those games for long enough or often enough to remember any names.

Generally but not always.
Microtransactions = I want the blue shirt, I can buy the blue shirt. The blue shirt can be cosmetic or have power boost.
Loot boxes = I want the blue shirt, I can buy a lottery ticket to maybe get the blue shirt. The blue shirt is just cosmetic. Maybe there is a way to get the blue shirt if I don’t get one in X boxes.
Gacha = I want the blue shirt, I can buy a lottery ticket to maybe get the blue shirt. The blue shirt has power boosts. Quite often, if I don’t get the blue shirt in a X tickets, I get a guaranteed blue shirt. Also a bit more often the blue shirt needs to be leveled up, using more blue shirts and/or other stuff you get from the lottery.
This is generally how it works, they are exceptions too it of course.
But that is why gacha is its own category, the lottery is required to progress the game and you need a lot of it. There is also usually multiple lotteries with different and the same prices at different % some you can play without spending money, some you need to spend money and some you can play onec in a while without spending money, but the good stuff and higher % are basically always looked in the two latter ones.
The way it is usually used and how upgrading stuff works, is very different between what country makes the game. I don’t remember exactly but the three big different ones are, Japan, China and South Korea.
The easiest different to simply explain is usually if you need more blue shirt to upgrade or if you just need more shirts or if you need shirt coins that drop from the game to level up, the shirt or if the shirt can’t be leveld up and you need a new shirt instead.
So I have three different typ of games from the top of my head.
A game I know was a thing that got cancelled. Life by You I am so pissed it got caned. I was looking forward to it so so much.
Then a game I don’t really know if it actually was a thing, I heard about it after it was cancelled, but I can’t really find much about it. Is The Sinister Six it was apparently a game about the Spider-man super villain group of the same name, as they appertaining in Insomniac’s spider man games. All I really remember is that you were supposed to play as the villains and it sounded good, I however only heard about it after it was caned so I really don’t know much more about it.
And then there is this game that was never a thing, but an April fools joke in 2015. There would be a cross over game between The Sims and GTA. I got so excited about it, it still sounds like it could have been awesome.
Those are some different typs of cancelled games that I really miss.
It’s a bit like a concrete vs random noise.
If you had to listen to a random rock song on high volume at random times in your videos, and having 100 of different songs screaming at you when you go about your day. You would find that annoying and disorderd.
On the other hand if you went to a rock concert or festival you would be fine with it and even expect that to happen.
I view this similar. Time Square and Piccalilli Circus are just festival grounds for adds.

It also depends where you get the mod from as different sites offers different amount of help. On some sites you need to download, un zip, drag and drop files in different places and change files both in the mod and outside it, and other sites you just press a button and your good to go. Even when it is the same or similar mods.
As I have seen similar statements about purely singel player games, it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest to hear it about an MMO. Were there dose exist a minuscule level of reason being it, not good reason but there is still some reason in it. With the singel player games there is no reason what so ever.
Is it one of those click all pictures that contains a buss/bicycle ones. Because I have noticed that some of them after you have clicked all the relevant pictures will give you more pictures to click but there sometimes is a significant wait before the pictures refresh into the new ones, with no indication that there will be more pictures and if you press compleat before the new pictures load it will fail you.

I kind of agree with you, to be honest.
Instead of putting this two things together and half assing them both, we could have had a more Fallouty Fallout 4 and a spin-off like Fallout: The Minutemen Story where you work in a Minutemen like faction somewhere to get it establish and working. With a much more settlement focused gameplay and with the big baddies being some raider factions, you have to deal with in different ways.

Fallout 4 I have around 450 hours in it, and like 10 are in character creation and 400 are in settlement building.
I have not meet the Institute, I have had two run in with the Railroad, I have defended Far Harbor when you first arrive, I have meet Virgil ones and I have never been on board the Prydwen. I did get to some big fight in the Automatron DLC after you build the brain bot, but I have now idea if it was the last or not.
But I absolutely love the game to bits and can roll play in it for hours.

If you want a gig like that, costume clothing, furniture, wallpaper and flooring for Sims 4. While there is somewhat of a community thing and the TOS about only having paid early access of a reasonable time, a lot of creatures don’t, and big chunks of the community will bend over backwards to defend it. So if you put out some paid stuff a lot of people will pay for it. If you don’t reales it for free after some time, big parts of the community will be mad at you, but many creators don’t follow that code and you can choose between putting up with it or just release it for free after sometime frame you are comfortable with, community stand is a month but ones again a lot of people don’t follow that and have lots of people buying their stuff.
And also if you just put out relatively good stuff, you will get a huge bonus over other people, even if you are paid only or have longer than community standard times. Because a lot of Sims 4 cc (in the Sims community moded assets are called cc while just mod/mods means gameplay mods) is really bad, with chep asset flips, theft and just really badly looking and functioning stuff and that includes quite a lot of the paid only scene. So you know the bar ain’t that high.
If you want a in game or developer official option, keep an eye on the upcoming Project Rene it’s the next sims game / sims spin off and while it is not confirmed to have paid cc and mods, there is a high likely hood of it.

Look at the Sims 4 support website, is a good start to see that a lot of people will 100% ask questions like, " Completely moded action, has a bug. How to fix it? I don’t play with any mods I promise."
So personally I don’t have any higher hopes for the Capcom audience, but credit to EA at least they just shrug their shoulders and answer " First completely remove your mods, clean the cache files and repair the game"
If you need a shower cap to shower more and comfortable then definitely get one. I never really got the point of them.
In my country we have hand showers or have a hand shower together with a fixed one in newer places. The only exceptions are public places like gym. So we don’t have as much of a need for shower caps, we can just not aim the water towards the hair. The only one I have actually seen in real life was one that came free with some magazine.
From my understanding both revolve around using other people to get money, but a gold digger dose it in person, might even go as far as marriage and life insurance clames. Where as a catfish dose it online, to be able to maintain the fake persona.
So they are similar but there are some differences.
