Years and years ago I had a server with a few friends and we built a massive city populated with villagers. It got to the point where you couldn’t ever have the entire thing loaded at once because there were so many.

Then they did an update and we stopped playing and that was the last time I touched it.

I have multiple saves with Dyson Spheres around black holes.

They were played consecutively.

I watched, while playing that game, every single episode of classic Trek, and SNW. I believe a few movies are sprinkled in there too.I only stopped playing to play Clair Obscur.

She doesn’t have massive tits and dresses like you’d expect someone surviving in a robot dinosaur apocalypse to dress. So, not porn/isn’t sexy, therefore game bad.

It boggles my mind that people fucking care. It’s not like porn isn’t freely available on the Internet, and porn of those characters specifically isn’t easy to find. But if you’ve seen some of the criticism coming from that crowd about Ghost of Yotei it’ll make sense.

What’s sad is Yotei has plenty of faults they could criticize instead. But they can’t see past women as purely an object for sex so here we are.

I was banned from r/gaming for daring to go against that grain, and as I understand that is typical. It was about a game I liked too , just wished they had taken a few risks. I think it was Breakpoint. I had some very harsh things to say about the Ubisoft formula and how much better that game could have been if they had embraced the sneaky techie gameplay instead of the looter shooter bullshit they’d done instead. What’s funny to me is that shortly after release they updated the game to get rid of the looter shooter bullshit. So I clearly wasn’t alone.

I learned after a few months of game pass that most of the games that looked interesting actually weren’t. It’s no big loss, and it’s cheaper to just buy the few games I actually want anymore. Doubly true now.

Public companies have a hard wired compulsion to increase value for shareholders. Every single decision is made with profit in mind. In the best cases you get milquetoast, inoffensive material everyone can enjoy. Ultimately, this leads to a relentless and aggressive pursuit of endless growth at any cost.

Private companies can take a loss here and there, they don’t have to report a bad quarter and so they can plan ahead. Which allows them to do two, non explains things. That approach allows them to build a robust and loyal consumer base which is quite valuable. So they’ll sell it off again and let the public companies milk them dry. They can also get up to some horrendously evil shit behind closed doors in a foreign country where the laws only apply to people who aren’t the ruling family and never have to answer for it. Though that kind of thing is usually reserved for like, chemical manufacturers and labor intensive luxury food markets. It may be that the Saudis are just diversifying and want a propaganda mouthpiece. Or one of the royals REALLY likes FIFA.

Hard to say.

I have been telling my wife since we got married that we will not be buying Samsung appliances. I’ll pay twice as much for anything else.

When we went to buy a new washer and dryer the sales guy really hyped up the wifi connectivity and all the extra features you get with a Samsung washer. The point that I will only ever be near my washer and dryer when I need to use it seemed to fly so far over his head her couldn’t see it with the naked eye.

At no point in the last 5 years with these appliances have either I, or my wife, even thought about the washer while we weren’t literally standing in front of it. Let alone needed it to have an Internet connection.
