I already have that one on steam, good catch, I’ll check if it runs well on my little linux box!

Thanks, will check out the 4 :-) !

Already tried it :-) a bit ooold but I’ll try to plod along for a while.

Stoneshard looks promising, if it works on Linux it’d be a breeze to setup from steam too, thanks!

You mean Heroes of Might & Magic? I remember there were several closely named ones. Played the 3 so much :-)

Already had it installed 😊 but didn’t get through the tutorial, a mix of too much “stuff” hard to grasp (right away, I mean it’s the tutorial).

Interesting, will definitely check out now. Thanks!

Thanks, gotta see if a 22 yo game still has it :-)

I’m not a that huge fan of the a bit too random probability to win in PD, have only played the original though…

Or even better Advance wars on my gba micro! 😎 Such a shame that my DS linker died some years ago and there seems to be no new ones, good screen and lots of nice games (I used it for GBA games too because of the screen).

Thank you will check out! I always thought it was realtime.

2D / ISO turnbased “cool” RPG recommendation
Hello all, I'm playing Knights of pen and paper for the second time, it's a nice time waster IMO (free part is better than the paid one, again IMO). Last cRPG I really liked was Neverwinter Nights, but it has sure aged a little bit. Would love a lazy rpg on android or a slightly more story rpg on linux (no graphic card 😅). Any recommendations? Thank you all 💖 !

Nothing beats playing a human being though (which a video game allows ofc) it allows, at least at my low level, a lot of manuvers depending on who you (think you) play against.

The whole thing feels like a chaotic system, anywhere, even when you’re winning 100 percent, the slightest insane miscalculation might smell doom.

It’s a fearsome game.

The game if chess. Several times too!

It’s actually a crazily cool game IMO. You heard of the hyper accelerated dragon? Of the blind swine check mate (even a blind swine can do it) others are from the 13 century and so on…

French, Danish, the London System.

There is something for everyone, even the loser (you’ll eventually lose half your games in a good matchmaking anyways) ; humility.
