If only they served essential apps (like they are doing now) so you can ease your mind with a fresh install, to build on top other apps you use. It might not be what we have dreamed, but that is still an unpriceable win.

All you describe could just play all out in my head. You haven’t read a lot of good novels if you need all this audiovisual support to paint a world with such depth in your head.
You really need a brain adapted to creating novel universes from text. If you don’t like reading novels I get why you need all the help such games offer to handwalk your imagination along the script.
