• Chrono Trigger - It’s pretty much the perfect RPG: great story, cool art, replayable, not too long or grindy.
• Earthbound - I admit I have a lot of nostalgia for this one, but it’s still a game I’ve replayed at least a half-dozen times.
• Final Fantasy Tactics - Fantastic story, plenty of character customization, and some extremely broken builds if you know what you’re doing. Also, did I mention the story?
• Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - THE metroidvania. Great gameplay, soundtrack, and visuals.
• Hollow Knight - Fun to play, difficult to master. Has a lot of charm and plenty of secrets to discover.

There are plenty of other games I would love to throw on the list, but some would require a ton of mods or just didn’t quite make the cut for me.

Where does Elder Scrolls 6 fit in there? I have a feeling it’s going to go even longer in development than GTA.

I made essentially the same comment on another thread yesterday, but I think it might have gone over most people’s heads. That or they didn’t want to admit it.

I think the last disc-based game I played was Neverwinter Nights 2. Either that or the Command and Conquer Collection. That was probably around 2014.

Try installing to somewhere besides those. I personally make a C:/Games folder and install everything in there.

Out of curiosity, what’s your install path for the game? Some games don’t cooperate with Program Files or Program Files (x86), so if it’s in there, try installing it to a different location and see if the problem persists.

Doubtful. It’s been discounted pretty heavily recently. And I believe it was also included in a bundle or two.

Parasite Eve is a Square Enix IP, so it’s possible it could get a PC port, but I wouldn’t count on it going to GOG. They’re almost as bad as Nintendo when it comes to hoarding their IPs.

I bought one of those 60GB original PS3s back in 06. That was also the last game console I purchased for myself. Made the switch to PC not long after that.

Agreed. However, I believe it was included in a Humble Choice bundle at one point, so it may not be quite as obscure as what the OP is looking for.

Shogun 2 is arguably the best TW game imo.
