I tried it a couple of years ago with the steam controller and the action camera. It works surprisingly well.
Here is more information.

Apparently its not developed by ArenaNet but a smaller studio of former ArenaNet employees.
And Guild Wars Reforged isn’t about a one-time update; we plan to keep collaborating with our partners at 2weeks to make further improvements to the game in the future!
This sounds promising.
Well, now I know what I will be doing during the better part of my Christmas holidays.
I am admittedly still hoping for a proper Guild Wars 1 remaster or a successor that is more like GW1 in tone and game play. Maybe its nostalgia but the sequels plot and world building never reached the quality of the original game for me.

Gothic one and two are really good. In the first game you are dropped into a prison colony and very soon a guard will try to extract protection money from you. In any other game the guard would just kill you, instead you will meet another guy asking you for help. He then lures you to a secluded space, reveals that he was sent by the corrupt guard, and beats you unconscious to steal your money.
Another game I will never stop recommending, because of its worldbuilding, is the excellent Enderal: Forgotten Stories. I really like how it depicts the theocratic society of the continent the story plays out in. The story about what initially seems like a standard fantasy thieves guild but is actually a cult that shuns emotion and try to transcend the physical body, is also really good and ties in with the overarching plot of the game.
I always really liked the menu music from Guild Wars Eye of the North because it is an actual overture.

‘The Crew’ by Ubisoft was sold for several months before they decided to shut it down. This would have at least forced them to communicate that before taking peoples money. I am also pretty sure that publishers don’t want to put this information on the package because it could seriously hurt sales. So the effect of this labelling requirement might be that publishers build the game in a way that enables self-hosting.

I think the commission will take action in some form. The worst case scenario in my mind is that they will only require clear labelling. Similar to what they did with smart phones recently. While this not exactly what I am hoping for, having “This game will at least be playable until XXXX” on the package or store page would still be a massive improvement over the status quo.
I haven’t seen a youtube ad in years thanks to uBlock Origin and Firefox.
I highly recommend this video that explains gacha games and how they objectify women and sometimes men.

This one is really fun and very underrated indeed. It gives you a level with an objective, how you solve it is entirely up to you. You can sneak to the objective, shoot your way through or cause mayhem by stacking boxes, explosive barrels and more. Also, the achievements on steam are all pictures of the developers cats.

It is actually a Skyrim mod but basically a complete game that just happens to be built upon Skyrim. It features full professional quality voice acting in German and English, new game systems inspired by the Gothic series, a setting separate from Elder Scrolls, and a story that gets close to the quality of Planescape Torment or Disco Elysium. I can’t recommend it enough.
Why are they doing business in Russia?
