Was Tak a good game/series?
::: spoiler spoiler Personally, I think it was a pile of shit. I remember the TV show tie-in being promoted endlessly on Nickelodeon and nothing felt more forced. It really boggles my mind how such a piece of crap could get the go ahead from so many others. Is it money laundering? Some rich kids with connections needed an excuse to justify wasting their time and money on "creative" degrees while lacking any talent whatsoever? :::

Shit, that game was pretty bad too. It’s nice to have bending, but the entire tone was off and it’s clear they didn’t have people who cared working on it.

Honestly, I think I lucked out with movie licensed games. Spiderman, Star Wars, X-men origins wolverine, I’m struggling to think of a bad one that I’ve played outside of displays in stores.

Okay, I looked it up to make sure there was a movie for this and easily the worst one I’ve played is Bionicle. I literally beat it the night I got it and was so disappointed. If it wasn’t so short, it could’ve been pretty good.

I always thought Blizzard could make a kickass survival game. The genre really needs a polished, accessible game to tie players together.

Very low expectations for this, though. Maybe Jeff really is a fantastic designer and won’t shit out garbage like so many others who left their companies such as Inafune and CliffyB.

Battle Network is great, but honestly, I’d start with Megaman X or even the original series before Zero.

How about Megaman X4 😉

Hey, is there any chance you can start streaming on Peertube? With OBS’ virtual camera, you can just stream the straight gameplay footage and don’t need to add commentary or anything (unless you want to.)

This guy gets it.

The pirate setting is the only redeemable quality in an otherwise mediocre game from a series that died entries ago.

Interesting. I recommend playing the first 2 if you want to see what the series was like before they fired the creator.

I know what you mean.

Bethesda games are kind of a one-time experience.

It’s my understanding that those games are wholly owned by Nintendo, whereas Pokemon is only partially owned.
