Seriously, anything after 2015 has perfect graphics, I don’t need slightly more realistic hair or whatever. Even a lot of 2010 is enjoyable. And this is only about graphics quality. For gameplay, story etc, you know shit actually matters, there already is way more than I can play.
Not exactly what you need but have you tried Neverwinter Nights? Its base game is pretty standard linear RPG from BioWare but it was released together with its development kit, and there is an endless sea of community content, some being MMO style worlds.
Preserving employment is not a meaningful goal. Jobs go away or change all the time. Between 1970 and 2010, average worker, be them blue or white collar, became 10x more productive. Do we work 3days a month for a full salary now? Ok we work just as hard but do we live better and more equally?
On free-market economy, every kind of development, every kind of change ends up screwing over working people and benefiting the wealthy. We need to work on changing the way we organize society at a more fundamental level. If it wasn’t generative model bubble it would be another bullshit bubble, it will never end unless working masses decide to take some direct action.
Higher wage working class is working class. If your income doesn’t come from owning things, if you put in work to get your income, you are working class. Division among ourselves only weakens us.
