### **Accounts and Gameplay**
* **User Accounts are Live:** You can now create a dedicated account to save your stats and match history, and connect with other players.
* **Leaderboard and Scoring:** A new leaderboard is now available, with a scoring system based on performance and games played. Your personal **Rank** is displayed on your account page.
* **New Match Flow:** A new modal with a 15-second timer now appears for you to accept or decline a match.
* **Game Notifications:** After a match, a centered notification will display the result, your opponent, and the reason for the game ending.
### **Design and Interface**
* **Streamlined UI:** The interface is now more compact. The top bar is tabs-only and auto-hides during a match. The game board is less cluttered, with ability controls stacked vertically to the right.
* **New Theme:** We've refreshed the primary color palette. Greens have been replaced with a new orange theme for buttons and other UI elements.
I understand that, and it’s possible. I had it like that before on a wide screen, but went with consistency if someone plays on a big monitor or mobile they’re below for both. In the future I could add a layout toggle or something.
That’s great feedback, I appreciate it. The X or O glows depending on which one you are moving, I want to keep the board state visually identical for both players aside from that though (flipping O or X depending on which you are playing can be weird). I can also make the reason for winning more descriptive, all of that information is displayed in the backend console already.
Raw PvP 1v1 matchmaking, no user accounts, no database, etc. If there is interest I’ll keep building it, but otherwise I’m done with it for now aside from fixing any critical bugs that may arise. It’s alive!
