Second run female V. Discovered the game this year because I play it on Mac (using Whisky) and it wasn’t possible before.
I am not a gamer (as you can tell by my computer’s brand) as I really struggle to find games I want to invest time into. I’m too old to enjoy the thrill of dying 20 times in a row to kill a boss (been a WoW hard player for a few years, but mostly for the lore when it was still great) so I play easy mode and enjoy each and every bit of dialogue I can.
This game is one of the best Sci-Fi movie I’ve seen in years. Sometimes it makes me feel like I’m in 1982’s Blade Runner, waiting for Rutger Hauer to make an appearance. I already met Daryl Hannah and Sean Young (or very resembling characters at least).
Anyway, I don’t care much that the launch was terrible. I’m just glad the game exists.
PS: As a Metalhead myself, the only things I dislike about the game is Johnny’s band stuff. The game’s music is absolute dope though.

I wish I could play a game where I could talk in real time instead of click, prepare attacks with my generals before the battle and settle a strategy, and where the fastest tabber-clicker is not the one who always wins.
Why? Because I’m getting old, that’s why, and anyone who ever played a competitive RTS knows exactly what it means.
But what exactly is this measuring?
Hard to tell honestly.
phpBB and Wordpress are websites engines. It doesn’t take into account the content of the websites they are serving, and more importantly the bloated advertising scripts that might be added to the sources.
Mastodon? What are we even talking about here? The content? The engine? Which instance?
So, while it’s true that some websites are bloated and some are not, OP’s post says absolutely nothing about it. Size means nothing when a single picture can easily outweigh a huge javascript file mining some bitcoins. For the same reasons, loading times mean nothing either.
Memory usage, FPS, Cumulative Layout Shift, First Input Delay, Largest Contentful Paint, any data gathered from the performance API. There are tons of efficient way to measure a website’s efficiency.
Finally, a website can fail to load for many reasons. First of which can be a 504 Bad Gateway Timeout, which is an event based on an arbitrary value on the server’s side.
Their publisher also expected the game to have about one-tenth of the actual players. I don’t think anyone knew how big it would be.
Absolutely.
The $5M also refers to what they thought Larian would want for it to be included on Game Pass.
Yes and that’s precisely my point. Because they didn’t see how successful the game would be. Otherwise, they would have thought of a much bigger number.
I knew it! Microsoft has been using IA the whole time! Look at this drawings, it’s proof!
