NFS 2000 Porsche Unleashed was peak NFS, its been downhill ever since.

For gaming, try bazzite, cachyOS, or nobara. Mint is also good, but might not have latest and greatest drivers or kernel etc, even then it is very popular. I switched to mint and then to nobara early last year and love it. I tested a few on VMware in windows before taking the leap. 3 months ago I wiped my windows partition coz I hadn’t used it in yonks. Higher price, more high failure connector issues, limited stock, likely more drivers drama… Totally a day 1 buy from me.
