Internet weird. Me on internet. Me weird. Hello.
Artificial difficulty. If I can only finish a game by grinding for hours on end or after endless tedious fetch quests, I am going to be very disappointed. Like there’d better be something else real strong in the title’s favor or I’m likely to drop it altogether.
There was a time when making games more difficult by way of time investment made more sense from a design angle, but that time has long since passed. It’s just lazy design in 9/10 cases these days.
It’s a communal project in which people make up lovecraftian monsters and objects that they share on a wiki, basically. There’s an expansive system of lore to it, including an MIB-esque organization that is collecting and, when possible, innoculating them, as well as all these different methods and procedures for interacting with them and categorizing them and junk.
Lots of strange and creative ideas scattered throughout. I liked it when it was just starting off but haven’t kept up, so I can’t speak for the modern quality overall, though I’m sure they’ve still got some bangers here and there.

I was playing Custom Robo until Armored Core’s existence was brought to my attention. So now I’m working through the og title and it is crazy fun so far.
There’s been a little Pokémon Colisseum on the side as well, as I never got to try it as a kid. Much better than the main series and I wish they’d drop more interesting experiences like this one…but they got their money machine and no reason to risk turning it off ig. Lame-os.
Ahh. Bananas are nice, but you’re not missing out on all that much tbh. Just kind of sweet mush, really. There are nicer fruits out there lol
And my b for being one of many goofs making the same old joke in your direction :P
