You can even build your own in the US. I know, because I checked some 15 years ago, because I wanted to build one with my flatmates 😅

But ain’t nobody going to the US these days.

Snatched Flight Simulator 2020 in sale. Last time I played FS it was 2000. Back then, I always hopped into a big Airliner, cranked up realism, flicked random switches and could not get the plane to even move. If I started airborne, I just horribly crashed immediately.

So I thought: let’s do this shit again. Cranked up realism to max, but hopped into a Cessna instead. Turns out: it is not that hard in a small plane 😅 (or maybe I’m just not a stupid kid anymore). Granted, I’ve only been flying in good weather and low wind (and with a little bit of sidewind landing starts to get tricky immediately), but I’m satisfied. Only caveat: if you’re flying seriously, you’re looking so much for the instruments all the time, that there’s no time to enjoy the scenery.

After two days I looked how much a pilot’s license costs. Turns out: way to expensive 😅. It’s funny how a license for a boat is like 500€, but flying is 15k ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Just grabbed the Kerbal Space Program DLCs in the sale.

My daughter is really into space stuff atm, so I think about starting to play it with her.

It’s funny how Crimson Desert und Death Stranding II just released at the same time and thus helped me stay patient 😅. I can’t decide, so whatever goes on sale first wins and I can play something different in the meantime.

Ah, and your sources? Like they have on the Wiki page. Cause the usual source for your version is “this blog, where somebody wants to sound smart”

A godsd for people without spatial awareness. But apparently I am too shitty to even leverage that. Never recognized anything and will get lost immediately in every game.

When you need to backtrack a house, cave, whatever on a timer that game is over for me 😅

Started Deep Rock Galactic. Played DRG Survivor recently and had an itch.

So far only solo, to get used to playing first person on the Steam Deck with motion controls, seems fine-ish.

I guess the game really starts to shine with a few friends, so hopefully I can explore it more when my gaming buddies return from vacation next week.

Just finished Death Stranding. WTF is this ending 😂? Felt like having to sit through a movie, c’mon I’m playing a game for a reason. Anyway, still liked it a lot, it only started to feel like an epilogue too early. And thankfully I’ve been mildly spoilered by the artwork of DS II, otherwise I might not have finished (like Enderal, the decision at the end was so shitty that I could not finish it).

Next up: A Plague Tale, but I haven’t started yet.

Playing the same. It’s the first game I encountered where you can pause cutscenes…that alone is worth so much with two young children with very bad sleeping habits 😂.

I feel your “review”. I kinda love the story, but the delivery (ha) feels a bit off.

Well, with my banking login the scammer could look at my balance and my poor spending habits. To withdraw/transfer they would need a TAN as well and therefore my banking card. Good luck getting hold of that with malware ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
