Maybe because is very different. But i like it. Idk people where so hyped by their nostalgia Patapon and probably feel robbed by the new way you move the character.
But once you get used to it it feels great. It also felt weird for me at the beginning but I chose to give it a try and don’t judge it with the Patapon Glasses.
With the new mechanics the game relies more on you being able to dodge enemy attacks, you cannot spam that hard. It feels more dificult. Just new mechanics.
IMO it’s not ready for getting out of early access.
Most of the time crimes are exploitable because NPCs life and assassination patterns are repetitive.
For 20-30h it’s cool. After that you have already learnt all the possible exploitations and it becomes power gaming gameplay.
If you don’t believe, search for steam reviews with more than +30h.
Even if I have the EOD I really hope EFT gets dumped and new games of the same genre come alive. I fucking hate the devs, they are even worse than EA or UBISOFT in terms of caring about the game more than money. The old prices were already a fucking scam.
Their netcode is trash, the game is full of hackers on wipe starts and mid wipe (basically were the fun is). Plus if you aren’t a fucking streamer that plays 15h a day the game you are pretty much fucked up.
I hope gray zone gets better and outruns them.
Yeah but at the same time those people are already tech braindead. Maybe the people that has to go against them it’s not the tech brain dead but the people that care about tech ethics. For example, game developers not accepting porting to Nintendo platforms.
I really don’t get why indie devs sign contracts with Nintendo, when Nintendo literally holds tons of blood in his hands from destroyed indie games by demands.
