Nothing new yet. Well, the last few weeks I started a new character in Valheim, the first one for me since the mistlands biome update.
Valheim has been on steam for a year or so, but is only just nearing 1.0 release. I had gotten on fairly early to play with budddies, and it was 20 bucks well spent. Played a good bit with my buds, Iv played a lot more solo. Survival/Base builder. Norse mythology setting. Not sure the price now with release imminent, but worth adding to the watch/wish list if the genre is right or you.
But, iirc the game is called Druidstone. Turn-based tactics game, foresty magic pg 13 looking. Been on my steam list for ever and was 5 bucks recently. Gonna play it soon I swear. I’m a little disheartened because it looks like you are stuck with 3 specific characters, instead of building a party. But hey maybe skill trees? Anywhoots I’ll post more about that one later.

First of all, while mines is darker brown, that cut is pretty close to me recently. Not me outta bed or while fighting a demi god, but for those 20 seconds after combing it and occasionally throughout the day…
Now, I’m not all American men. Yes we have varity in our hair types and colors and styles. But it’s the same reason Americans think something about English peeps, and Indians think something about Brazilian peeps. And so on. Its cause they don’t live there and have limited experince with that particular group of the other.
Games (movies and books and whatever else) shouldn’t homogenize any group too much. But to be fair, it’s fucking hard depicting people.

Like the old super nintendo rpg featuring Ness? Gosh why the rush? Seriously tho that’s a neat one. I played not many years ago for the first time. It’s wild seeing so much of what I love in games so old. Even if we owned a super Nintendo back when and I logged absurd hours…
Super Mario RPG was major for me, I got it because it said Mario. Hated it for the first few nights, loved it for years. Equally realized rpg was a genre of games.
I have not come back to it in awhile, but Mobile Legends bang bang. It’s a tower rush game (league of legends knock off) that is free to play, with plenty to buy for those that want. Besides some of the cosmetic stuff (skins and stuff) anything can be gotten through grinding.
It’s 5 on 5 tower rush, with lots of different characters. I had gotten quite familiar with playing a few, and for awhile really knew a bit about playing against most of the regularly seen characters.
Nowadays I get the urge every few months, update app, play for a week or two then put it down.
Sim city build it also stays on my phone, as it is a peaceful and colorful game. Easy to play for 10 minutes or go in and out of on a long ride.

Never heard of Dawrf Fortress until I had sheddit and came to lemmy, where it’s sub(? Instance? Thread?) Came up on my feed before I made an account. Like a lot. Linux, programmer humor, memes, and dwarf fortress where all I saw.
I’ll need to be in the right mood to start that game, but the hype is kinda insane for a roguelike. I have high expectations.
Fallout 4. Its not the radio stuff we all love… its the almost erie pause screen music that comes on after a while.
