Call me when GOG Galaxy supports Gnu/Linux.

Title should have something like “Steam Deck only version” in it IMO.

This is not a general Linux version and will only download on a Steam Deck, not a generic Linux PC, as per my reading of the article

If you dislike impressionist art, would you still go to a museum exhibition on that topic and then get angry at the curators?

Who play mobile games

So not proper gaming like on console or PC?

Still rocking a GTX 1070 and I plan on using my Graphene OS Pixel 8 Pro till 2030 (only bought it (used ofc) bc my Huawei Mate 20 Pro died on me in October last year 😔)

Back when building my PC, I actually considered getting a 980 Ti. Luckily I did go with the GTX 1070

(they were both similarly priced)

I’ve been on Linux since 2018 (my PC is from 2016) and my next GPUs will always be AMD, unless Intel somehow manages to produce an on par GPU

I’m running Linux for everything and my GTX 1070 is still chugging along trying to power my 1440p 144hz monitor ^^’

Well, I mostly just play strategy games and CS2 (which I do have to run on almost the lowest possible settings without FSR. I basically turn everything to lowest except for lowest still AA setting and dynamic shadows to not have a disadvantage and get 110 - 180 fps depending on the situation)

But I’m planning on buying a used Radeon 9070 XT and just inserting it into my current build (i7 6800k based lololol) and on eventually buying a new build around it

(A 750W 80 Plus Platinum PSU should be able to handle a new 970 XT)

Luckily I’ve always kinda seen (at least aspects of it) as an interactive book on steroids, which is why I always read everything lol
But I rly regret save scumming in my first play through, took quite a bit of magic away as in “I’m bending the experience to my will and not enjoying it fully” which I’m trying to remedy now

But ye, it is truly a masterpiece and a wonderful work of art. The experience is just 👌.
The fact that we’ll never get a true successor might just be the most disco thing about it all…

But I’m always save-scumming to get Kim on the dance floor no matter what

“understandable, have a nice day”

Mostly “Disco Elysium” (translates from Latin to “I learn [the world of] Elysium” btw. OFC it’s disco AF too)

And yes, it’s been 6 years since release and 4 years since “The Final Cut”… ((:

I love this game SM. It’s such a welcome break from the neoliberal postmodernist slop, being a genuine piece of art. I love it’s materialist and politeconomic perspective on society; in general, the writing is just superb (there is no going back after it too, most games and art in general (including novels and films) might just seem mediocre afterwards)…
The writers did their research about basically everything they wrote about (even racial “”“science”“”, OFC depicted negatively), with a focus on psychology, political economy, sociology and philosophy.

Initially played it in 2021 (but save scummed a lot :/ ). Both me as a person, and my understanding of political economy and philosophy have grown quite a bit since then.
I tried replaying it in 2023, but didn’t get very far (mostly due to mental health) Recently my interest in the game rekindled and I’m trying to play as a progressive social democratic superstar hobocop this time lol

I’ve also been getting back into Counter Strike 2 the last few eeks, but it’s taken a major backseat to Disco Elysium (a large factor being: I want to make a deck of Anki flashcards to memorise util lineups of the current map rotation; but I just can’t summon the motivation for it, so it “blocks” me from playing)

that’s the thing though, it strips you of the options the four essential freedoms provide.

and imo it’s not rly an argument. Libre software is free as in freedom and not necessarily free as in beer. You could license it under the (A)GPL, charge for downloads in the Play store or for compiled binaries on ur website and ask for donations on F-Droid.

You could even do a freemium version where some features are locked in the binaries you distribute and need a license from ur website or smth (for those who don’t want to use Google Play). (iirc SD Maid 2/SE does this)

unfortunately Futo seems to only be source-available and not libre software :/

though I can +1 the Heliboard recommendation! idk when they added it but it finally has a multilingual keyboard function :)

I used to use Simple Gallery and later Fossify Gallery. Now that I have a device new enough for Accrescent to work on it I discovered Aves Gallery Libre.

It’s much nicer and polished in many ways but I do miss some features sometimes
