Not “massive” at all. But it’s not a demo anymore. I haven’t looked under the hood in a while since back when it first came out but it used to just create NPC’s mirroring your other players actions. That was a long time ago though, I can’t imagine it working this well still using that method

Edit: Here is the list of features, looks like it’s up to 8 people now. But I think it probably does still use that old method, based on the way this is all described


You can install this game as a multiplayer RPG suite with cloth physics, frame generation, and a decade of fan content pushing that medieval engine to do things that shouldn’t even be possible.

But somebody out there still wants to buy it in potato.jpeg resolution and run it on a kid toy

Oh nice, that all sounds good to me. I was going to get it anyway since Obsidian usually delivers the sauce. I’m suprised whenever chuds can comprehend when Outer Worlds was woke. It seemed too subliminal to trigger them.

Did you play avowed? That was the first Obsidian game I’ve hesitated on

Kind of. They play it straight though. It’s corny but also really epic


VtM Bloodlines 2 just got me yesterday because it changed up the dialogue my character speaks when I put on a catholic priest outfit. He provokes people to rage by saying vampy things depending on his clothes but in the priest suit it’s just simple "Damn you!"s and calling people demon or quoting the exorcist. The NPC’s have the best replies to this though.

Before that it was probably the music video scene from The Alters
