Okay, so I gotta admit, that article about the Switch 2 being not-so-bad actually convinced me. They’re right, it’s awesome for parties and two-player gaming on the go. I didn’t realize the hardware could do 3.2 teraflops docked (1.6 undocked)—the Deck only does 1.6!
Yeah, games are pricey, but I think Nintendo delivers good entertainment value.

I got a hunch that the team behind prepping the game for new hardware just didn’t have enough time to polish the port for DLC as well.
The outrageous prices are provably set by sales and/ or upper management anyway.
I kind of don’t get the urge for buying BotW on switch 2 if you alredy have it on original. Why not save your money on new games to play that are coming for thw system?
Here’s what I picked up during the Steam Spring Sale:
DOOM - $1.99 (90% off)
Stray - $18.99 (40% off)
Undertale - $0.99 (90% off)
Celeste - $4.99 (75% off)
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - $4.99 (90% off)
Red Dead Redemption 2 - $14.99 (75% off)
NieR: Automata - $15.99 (60% off)
Hades - $9.99 (60% off)
Devil May Cry 5 - $19.79 (67% off)

The article makes a point out of mentioning that you wont be able to emulate switch 2 games on the deck due to hardware performance and emulation overhead.
Maybe 5 years into the future, but not now.
Also interested in any link suggestions for controllers that are as compact as switch joycons. Would be awesome for social gaming on the go.
