ngl the hk and silksong native ports were pretty crap on my machine (but proton + Windows version worked perfectly)

pretty sure it lets you import all your multimc instances so it’s a pretty easy transfer

I think prism launcher is better these days (it’s a fork of multimc but with more stuff)

I’m fine with the difficulty, but I’m sure a lot of players bought silksong without beating hollow Knight first, and I feel that the game is too hard for someone just getting into the genre. it’s unnecessary cruel to new players sometimes imo.

someone could enjoy most of the game but be turned away by some of the more frustrating parts, which in my opinion is kinda unfortunate. maybe they bought the game on release and now feel like they are stuck with a game that isn’t worth it.

BlazBlue mention. I think it’s funny how non fighting game people are getting into bb entropy effect (BlazBlue is a pretty old fighting game series and entropy effect is a recent spin off made by a 3rd party)

in the very beginning it was planned to be just a dlc, but for many reasons they decided to go make it a full game

bloons td 6 and super auto pets (on mobile and PC)

also mindustry

I think most ppl agree that it’s a monopoly, it’s just that they are a monopoly not because of anticompetitive practices but because everyone else sucks. steam does give a lot of value to small game devs cause it makes it easy for ppl to find your game (but I’m not sure if that’s worth the 30% revenue cut). if there was a better platform that took less revenue then devs would simply use that instead.
