I absolutely love the vibe of playing the game, but yeah a lot of the systems they add feel isolated and rather pointless. There’s a settlement system where you can basically be the mayor of a settlement, developing it and managing its growth - but it doesn’t really lead anywhere. They have fishing, crop growth, cooking - but it doesn’t really support anything in particular. There’s an extensive creature taming/breeding system, but creatures don’t seem to do a lot afaik.

I’m pretty easy to please, as long as procgen fits within the overall vibe of the game.

My only hang-up is when there aren’t enough unique/modular enough nodes and I can recognize walking through the same room several times in one dungeon. If that happens, I’m not playing your game for more than 20 hours no matter how much fun it is.

Procgen should increase novelty. If you’re just rearranging the order of parts A, B, and C, that’s bad.

I have a friend who buys every single console game released and never plays any of them. Physical copies georg is an outlier and should not be counted

The number of times I totally overshot distance based on the quest description and ended up in the Ashlands…

There are so few open source games, they have just cemented a permanent audience for themselves for the next 10 years by announcing this.

I thought that was the Sims intended playstyle? You mean to tell me the developer didn’t intend for me to make a family of 8 of my friends, then trap them in a house until each of them dies one-by-one Hunger Games style? Then build a glorious mansion for the final one?

Ego soothing, peacocking behavior

Frankly I think every stock-oriented subreddit is a controlled operation meant to pull value from the subscribers only. I doubt almost any thread on those subs are people authentically sharing their perspectives.

Yes. The data for the image isn’t hosted in the block chain of the NFT. The NFT is basically an unfalsifiable digital signature of authenticity.

They’re popularly used for digital art, but can be paired with any technology as a digital signature.
