During the lock downs I got furloughed for a week. I spent most of it playing Dwarf Fortress.

Jokes on them, I won’t have any money to buy stuff

I got into the TFC mod for half life, but never got into multi-player fps games beyond that

I’m still on 10. I’m waffling between installing bazzite on my laptop, building a new computer and installing bazzite, or just using my steam deck as a daily driver. But none of the options include using windows.

Adventure mode is more accessible compared to the previous versions of DF, but still more difficult than Fortress mode which is still difficult.

I play KSP and Dwarf Fortress so I can do single player and still end feeling angry and frustrated

Because it’s easier than giving up luxury items

The only laws I respect are gravity and conservation of momentum, and even those are debatable

I spent a lot of hours playing TFC.

I want to know how much the price of a car would come down if I didn’t need to visit a salesperson working on commission. I want to go to Costco, test drive it to make sure I like it, and check out.

I have a few counters I manage, plus my personal laptop. I’ve set all of them to only allow updates up to version 22H2, windows 10 lts. Hopefully that means they will never try to upgrade to windows 11.

Edit: computers. I don’t manage any counters that run an OS, as far as I’m aware.
