To be clear - “Collective Shout” both is and isn’t responsible. It’s the payment processors who actually enacted policies and are using them as the scapegoat for negative feedback.

How many times have people reported Twitter after Elon Musk took over for showing Nazi propaganda alongside their ads - with no response. An ‘open letter’ in July about a game already banned in April? DELIST EVERYTHING IMMEDIATELY.

Dragon Age 1: Quest 1: Here is the exact ritual to create new Gray Wardens

Every Dragon Age since: You’re the last Gray Warden! No one knows how to make more!

This guy worships the “Turn the other cheek” guy, right?

The “love your neighbors” guy?

The “unconditional love” guy?

Just want to make sure I fully understand.

This analogy is garbage. The “nicotine vape for kids” isn’t Balatro, it’s loot boxes. Balatro would be like candy cigarettes.

I was excited for the remake until I learned that it ends before the end of disc 1. I’m also not buying a new console to play the second third of a remake of a game I’ve already beaten.

To the point where I legitimately thought it was a mockery of the series. Oof.

I remember one of l Hank Green’s older videos when he added up all the viewtime from all of their videos and realized it was longer than the average human lifespan. Of course, he immediately framed it as “We’ve killed a man!”

Those are not my ONLY issues, no. They’re the most egregious for a videogame right now, but the entire concept is just … Fluff for no reason other than to list “AI NPCs” on the box.

Paying for more writers is simply better all around.

The best models right now still hallucinate, so no matter how well trained, they’re still going to be awful. The specific message isn’t the issue.

They have no object permanence and you can convince them of things by just repeating it to them enough times. But the worst part?

They’re not even fun to talk to.

“Please help me! I need someone to take care of 6 large rats that live in my kitchen!”

‘OK! Where are they at?’

“I’m sorry, but as an LLM, I cannot provide specifics on details pertaining to this request.”

No satire either??

So you can say nothing but praises for the game, but if they detect sarcasm, you’re STILL getting sued?

“We’re still learning just how far we can push PC players.”

The reason for the backlash is that it all felt performative when the creator is online calling all trans women rapists, pedophiles and groomers.

The game was just saying, “Don’t think about that- give us money anyways! Just don’t think about where the money is going!”

It’s not “allegiances”. A literal child asked for a game feature and transphobes started leaking that child’s personal information online.

It’s not Eric’s fault, but it still is his responsibility to make sure there’s a safe way to request features without getting doxxed.

Never said I can’t enjoy it. I beat it on Switch. It was great.

I’m saying a better game is available, and to deny yourself that game solely because of Nintendo lawyers is dumb.

They’re frustrated because the game could easily be better if it wasn’t forced to run on a tablet. So easily in fact, that it’s just a button, and it’s unlocked. It’s right there, but Nintendo makes more money if you can only play it on their tablet.

There’s over 1000 pokemon now, and let’s not forget how ‘unique’ a lot of them are.

Voltorb? Ok. No one can ever use a sphere.

Ekans? Ok, no one can ever use a generic snake.

Electrode? Oh shit, they’re stealing from themselves!
