But again it sounds like the spec you actually care about is battery length. If you get an oled phone with a medium capacity battery, then its usable battery length would be far surpassed by an lcd phone with a large capacity battery.

Obviously you should go with whatever you like, I’m just trying to help you figure out what are the actual features you care about.

Well for half of that, the spec you actual care about is battery life. The n30 has massive battery life. And for good modern non-curved lcd screens there’s never any backlight bleed anywhere. Yes, the blacks aren’t fully completely as black, but on a good modern lcd they’re very close to it, and in exchange you get all the screen advantages i listed above. Oled always has worse viewing angles, worse color accuracy, worse way of making the screen “dimmer” by using pwm rather than actually making the screen dim, etc.

Why oled only? Modern lcd screens are fantastic. For example look at the OnePlus n30, its lcd screen is super bright, very colorful, has absolutely no PWM, has a refresh rate of 120 hz, has a wide viewing angle range with no change in brightness or color, and is just gorgeous all around.

Seems more likely that the silver is just a color coating that’s getting worn off, but it’s hard to say from this photo

Where, quote it for me. I looked in 5 separate dictionaries, they all say it’s a negative thing.

Huh, definitionally it’s always a bad thing, i wonder why people around you use it that way

That’s similar but different in a lot of meaningful ways. Hydro pumping like that requires a relatively large body of water next to a large geographical height right nearby. This new system doesn’t require any water, and it uses a man made hole in the ground that’s already been created and which otherwise would be simply unused

This is a misleading headline. It’s not talking about the existing Alexa products suddenly requiring a subscription for them to work, no the rumor is talking about a subscription for their upcoming higher tier Alexa Plus service with more advanced capabilities that’s based on generative AI.

Sounds pretty much exactly like real life

Depends on which country you’re in. I would bet if you do it in Russia there will be zero consequences.

This makes the most sense by far. Owners of a company always pay themselves a salary, and for a tech company with investors I’m sure these people were able to give themselves an extremely high salary. That salary money is legally their money forever no matter how crappy or failed the company’s output winds up being. Unless you can prove that an actual crime was committed to acquire that money, then it will remain legally theirs.

One thing to check when using a phone meant for a different region is to see if the phone has antennas for the spectrum that’s used in your country. Like if the cell service in your area uses frequency band A, B, and C, but the phone only has antennas for bands X, Y, and Z, then that phone won’t work in your country. The phone doesn’t have to have all the bands that your cell service provider uses, but the more bands match then the better your connection and coverage area will be.

Unless there’s something I’m not aware of (which is very possible), what you said doesn’t make sense. The company was already publicly traded (so no IPO to pump up the numbers for), and none of the recent moves he made increased the stock price.

You can’t just cut ties in this scenario. These games are already built on the unity engine, it’s not feasible to rebuild it again on a totally different engine, and now unity is going to apply new fees to all these already existing games.
