By the way, situation with Hitman is interesting, because petition as it stands, will not address the issue with it specifically. Hitman technically has offline mode, and it’s even playable as a game. The fact that it doesn’t have that part that makes it so interesting isn’t actually addressed.

The amount of people who don’t understand how taxes work is just ridiculous.

D-pad for me, functionally, is a 4 directional buttons clustered together, oriented along the X-Y axis. To conserve parts, it’s quite often made not as 4 buttons but as a combined shifter, because you realistically wouldn’t be pressing the opposite buttons at the same time.
The left track area on the steam controller is that. The buttons are fuzed together (which is normal for D-pad) and big and harder to tell apart (which is less normal)

Cops use devices to pretend to be a celltower, so your phone connects to it, and then they use it to spy on you. Rayhunter looks for this behaviour and warns you if it detects a suspicious tower that behaves like cops pretending to be a tower.

It’s actually the other way around, it’s a big d-pad with touchpad capabilities plastered over it. It’s the same physical mechanism as a d-pad, 4-way button, it’s just big.

The left touch zone is pressable, and four zones are four separate buttons. It’s a bit less convenient to use than a regular d-pad, it’s bigger and you need to reach slightly further, but other than that it works.

The touch zone is the d-pad, it’s pressable and you don’t need to do anything, just use it regularly

It actually has d-pad, it’s just combined with one of the touch areas, you can press it like a button, and 4 zones behave like a d-pad. Granted, it’s a bit inconvenient so if you need it often, it’s not the best. But it’s there.

I doubt “the context” is that he started the stream, said “eat my entire ass” and stopped it. I bet there was hours of ramblings, like streamers do. And taking three sentences out of hours of ramblings is almost a definition of taking shit out of context.
The irony is, the video you linked is actually walking you to conclusion. Asking for context and sources is normal, listening to a video with quotes chopped together, and believing it with no more questioning is not.

I am also trying to figure it out, but the link you linked specifically contains quotes taken out of context entirely, choppily edited together. Personally I never trust shit like that. If you quote someone and don’t give a link to full context, it’s either because you don’t care or because you’re hiding something, and neither is good.

Anti-murder laws are cuttailing my choice! What if I someday would like to make a choice to murder someone?

Yeah, big studios are setting up to create the mediocrest game they can imagine. Taking risks might make the line not go up, and they can’t have this happening.
Ironically, this leeds to creation of absolute dogshit more often than not.

It does but it does so far as someone updates indices. It’s easier with git, but someone still needs to do all of it.

The problem with that it’s not “wherever they like”, it is github 99% of the time. It is easier to fix when github enshitifies completely, but it will still require fixing

Cyberpunk launch was a disaster and the game was a mess, but I think it wasn’t strictly greed based disaster like many others, but more of a fuckup caused in big part by covid. They didn’t have enough time to adapt to the lockdowns and didn’t have either the budget or the will to postpone the launch once again. I’d argue it’s different from just blatant usual shit that other mentioned companies do

Yeah, take your time. The only way for all of it not to be a disaster is to make a good game, and we see how that’s nearly impossible for them to do now. So, nobody really cares and nobody really should. I really wish they would do good, but I have zero expectations.

Or, another explanation is that more people are interested in things they can buy than in you (and I understand how hard it might be to believe in that), and Google algorithms “know” that

If anything could be said about that is that’s most probably an event that happened in time.

That’s something that was kinda sorta true 20 years ago, but not anymore

Rimworld. It’s not a game for me at this point, it’s a drug that I have to take from time to time, and it takes all of your free time like a good drug would.
There are others with that effect for me, like modded Minecraft, or Factorio, or Satisfactory, or Hitman, or Skyrim, but nothing is that severe.

They become good if you use youtube a lot and subscribed to a lot of channels. After some time they become really, scary good.

So far, every piece of automatization created more jobs, and those jobs were ultimately better. Unfortunately people who works automated jobs will have to adapt, but the hope is, the society will help them with that.

I feel like going on steam will do them wonders because the game is great.

There is a Cultist Simulator there. I don’t know about Android port much, but it’s a good game on PC
