Factorio is 100% off when you torrent it.

SW died instantly with Ep8’s first 5 minutes. Solo was alright, as was Rogue.

Shhhhh, let them kill things we hate, they’re excellent at killing things.

Laptops looked neat, then I looked at pricing and possible I/O combos and Lenovo still kills it.

Every 6 months to maybe a year. My very original one just lost charging, and I’m yet to try and jump start it using a 9V just to see if it might res, so i got a replacement in the meantime.

Realistically not happening. The sad part is when Nintenderp starts caring, they START caring and hella secure their shit. Sony started the trend, but kinda eased off since they make plenty of other products besides PayStation, but big N only offers one crappy product.

At least there are fancy dumb lipo chargers that you can hook up several batteries of same stats to and charge em in batches.

Sadly only really works with lead acid and nimh. Lipo rig to keep track of %s, letting them drain enough and only then top them off slowly - way too convoluted.

I’d make an organizer of sorts and put dated labels on things and just check bi-annually.

M$ was also THE first to charge for multiplayer…even on PC once Xbox era began.

Reminds me of Halo pushing skingrinder when Inf released. Just use default gray and grind your actual skills.

Fuck live-service. Make good single player games, with co-op, some interactive hub for people to just chill and meet organically, and then add in your multiplayer modes and arenas for sweatiest players. Done.

Achievements shouldn’t fucken exist in the first place. Stupid, stupid way to artificially extend play time of games and give away secrets/entice people to chase them.

I’ve had ENOUGH of artificial grind when weapons and tools now break unless you hawk their damn HP to artificially bloat playtime and user action.

As far as “official” handhelds go - Vita 2000 is the absolute god, especially with the SD2Vita adapter.

UNFORTUNATELY, PSP has one of the worst damn analogs known to grace gaming after N64, and plenty of core games required it.

Today, I’d say Vita 2000 is the real way to go with portables.

Welcome to Japanese retail mentality, friend. Nothing is ever on sale. There are no competitive products, for the most part. If you want it - you save up and get it, or not.

Kids only care about Pokemon, casuals only touch Mario Party like once a month when family is over. So making a Pokemon Access Machine underspec’ed and overpriced is actually THE move from profit perspective.

But prices around used PS5s and Eksbaxes, so it made no sense to me that it sold like it did. And there were no intriguing launch titles and still aren’t any.

4 got a good mountain too, and Lego island was pretty fun. 5 finally dialed in controller driving physics at the cost of literally everything else.

So you’ll ask how to level faster and it will tell you that you have cancer and to kill yourself. Riiiiiight…

Technically they have with cart ID checks online, if you go online. If someone used a MIG to rip a cart, then sold the cart, and now 2 copies show the same ID key both accounts can get banned.

I only ever did first month for $1 to beat Halo Inf campaign and that was that.

Not a decade some ago when XBL got integrated into M$ PC side of games…

Oxygen as well, but it implemented them in the same engine with the same combat rules we’re all used to.

Well, writing in a hyper-repetitive story based game is absolute make it or break it because hearing the same lame-ass pander line over and over will drive anyone nuts. And people who turn off the sound and breaking immersion are a very special kind.

BL3’s writing killed the franchise. I’m surprised people bought into 4 at all…

EVERY industry in Japan is a corpo cubicle slave farm. And 90% of people aren’t paid enough nor have enough free time to even think about pursuing the indie path to freedom. Also society doesn’t exactly encourage pioneering and risk taking.

There aren’t enough talented users like that. And no one will put in tremendous effort in for free. And almost no one will pay for a game twice.

I’m still curious how CDPR did away with Witcher 1 - whether they paid Bioware to use NWN engine or not.
