Not even close to true, as others have said we even have chips from AMD that use less power and are faster than even their last gen versions. The 9700x has a tdp of 65w while the 7700x last gen version of this same like is 105w. So no this isn’t true at all.

They need to bring back demos. It would help a ton if they did, but it seems so many companies and devs just completely skip the idea. I think some of it has to do with companies who kinda know their games aren’t going to be worth a fuck so they want people to buy at full price, so they’re not going to release a demo. Same with not releasing the game to reviewers early.

That’s true. I was more commenting on how good a game it was though, but I do think it’s peak story for me. KCD series is second. There hasn’t been another game for me that had such a crazy twist in it than spec ops.

It’s still like that though, the city just feels like it’s just a bunch of npcs standing around. 3am? Same people just wandering around or sitting/leaning somewhere. I really don’t know of a game that has any dynamic npc systems. It’s all just scripted a to b and that’s it.

Seriously, at my old farm I had 4g and was doing 30mbs down and 5 up and none of our phones had service. Once I put in the mimo antenna I had Internet. I still use a mobley plan at my new place, thankfully fiber is finally gonna be here soon.

But don’t deal with not having access. Seriously 4g is prevalent enough in the usa that you shouldn’t be without it now.

Also ignore all the idiots who say this can’t be done on a phone plan. It %100 can, and if you’re rural enough, more than likely very few people will be connecting to your tower and you will not see deprioritizing.

This pricing is why Nintendo doesn’t want emulation of its games, while other companies don’t give a shit because they either figured out how to port their shit over to PC or did a multiplatform release to begin with. Steam was the largest reason piracy for games has literally shrunk and why so many from the scene stopped. Make it cheap and easy to get the game, no need for people to pirate it. Nintendo did the exact opposite and has tried and tried to keep it on a closed platform…yet it’s one of the most emulated company out there.

You can also upgrade it part by part, and not have to let the entire thing get replaced every cycle.

9700x here as well, for the price I got it at $220 it’s a steal. I’m just baffled people are still buying the 7800x3d at $350-400 used/new. Pretty sure I might get 2-4 frames more with my setup (7900xtx) but that’s not worth it to me for the extra cash spent. More power to AMD for knocking it out of the park though.
