I hmhave a goal of having bases evenly distributed across the galaxies. So I hop on every once in a while to find a suitable planet for the next base.

They replay all the expeditions during the holidays so I do the ones I missed as well.

Agreed. I always wait for Zelda, Animal Crossing, and Smash Bros.

But honestly, it’s not worth it at the prices theyre asking.

I will be really happy the day I can boot steam big picture on my Android/Linux phone and launch a steam game through fex/Proton

Why use the word “claims”? They have the Valve Hardware survey to prove the statement.

Oh wow you anger much less easily.

I started boycotting when they started forcing uPlay even in Steam games.

Finally someone with a voice said it.

Epic gives so many games away, but their launcher and store are so bad that I don’t even play their free games.

I don’t care if Uni wants to run a store. But forcing me to use their store when I buy the game on steam is pretty af. So I don’t play Ubi games either.

Their shit launcher made the games run worse.

In present day. I dont want to use Windows. So I simply cannot play much if the new games from the other shit companies because they have some vendetta against Proton / Steam Deck.

Now they’re literally doing it to themselves.

If I could testify for Valve as a customer I would.

What is the game UI you’re running in the top picture?

Or is it a different retroarch theme?

Oh wow, Nintendo was really early in that! I thought that was just introduced in MK7

Funny you bring it up. When Mario Kart introduced the coins, I immediately thought of the Wumpa Fruits in even the first CTR.

I read it as Nintendo running out of ideas. But it seems the Switch 2 Mario Kart adding the cross country game mode is somewhat more novel than the coins.

So right next to my achievements list I have a stupid chatbot that can take longer to less accurately tell me my achievements.

Oh that’s awesome I didn’t know it ran the games locally in browser with wasm. Def will be spinning this up now

Are they still harvesting personal data from players?

My job requires MS Authenticator and I just use Aegis to make my TOTPs.

Is there a deeper MS Auth feature that locks you in?

The Punkt Mp02 would be great for that.

You get a feature phone that can still do hotspot so you can get data to your laptop

Trying to import a Pixel 10 from outside of the states for the Sim slot.

Then GrapheneOS and run it into the ground.

I really hope Graphene partners with Fairphone, helps them get their security up to par, and make the Fairphone the official Graphene phone.

Then I could just use Fairphone forever.

Docker doesnt affect that. I ran a Palworld server in Docker for several months, it’s just a different, and better, way to package the software

on Steam you can buy the soundtrack but not the game. The soundtrack is listed as a DLC for the base game. How fun

Is that an nvidia only thing because both of those worked when I tried them. Although when using gamescope I couldn’t figure out how to get the steam overlay.

I use big picture often though with NO man sky

Wouldn’t flatpak insulate the problem? You can already get mesa through it.

I’m sure 32bit shared object files are also free game.

Tarkov runs on Linux!? I thought they had kernel anticheat that didn’t work

Levelone techs had relevant guidance.

Kernel 6.14 or greater Mesa 25.1 or greater

Ubuntu and Mint idt have those yet hence your difficult time.

Wow Synfoniums style is already very close to this.

Truly amazing and dedicated dev.

I liked 1 and 2. Got bored for the prequel and 3 early on.

Tiny Tinas I did play and really enjoyed that game. It felt like a reasonable advancement over BL 1 and 2. It felt like they stagnated for a bit and raised the bar slightly with Tinas.

I really wanted an MMO style Borderlands with 4, and I wouldn’t value 4 any higher than Tinas launch price. But I am interested in what the game has to offer.

If you liked only the first two, def give Tina’s a try, if it has a good sale.

Apple does have a compatibility layer. But it’s restricted only to devs wanting to port their games to metal.

Doing it wrong and losing access.

Can you fallback to email pin if you lose your steam authenticator?

One could probably also factor in hardware costs. But over years it may not be as bad as suspected like you’re expressing.

I would really like to auth my steam account with a normal TOTP app.

I know you can extract the TOTP from Steam authenticator but there’s risk involved with it.

I remember there being a few points like that in Megaman Legends 1 and 2.

There’s too many multiplayer games.

And with them come not working anticheat, cheaters, yet another account no one asked for, and a whole other slew of BS.

Many of us find solace in single player classics.

How did I know that they were going to try to justify it with:

“They worked hard on it” and “but wait, there’s so much more!”.

Bullshit. I really hope we hold the line on this until they stop bluffing.

This was a really useful feature for those no service moments.

Transferring survival manual, or a Bluetooth messenger app has proven imperative before.

Mullvad is the only VPN provider I know of that hasn’t had a controversy yet. Highly recommend

At least it’s something tangibly useful. Unlike “AI”. I’m for it.

Diversify from selling personal data

Ah the American way. Fail to innovate and block out the competition.

Free market ftw

Whoa, they fixed the screen on Yoshi Circuit!?

Which emulator are you using?
