I collected free games for sure. I don’t even know if I played many of them. Tbh most of them were older and would go on sale on steam and I’d just buy them there.

Also steams Linux support is so good, I just can’t do epic

Free quality updates for silksong and hollow knight, and a free expansion for silksong. Wow.

And beyond that, they’re just uselessly annoying for consumers

Oh it’s one of those? Same reason I returned red dead redemption 2.

The first witcher game was released in 2007. The second one was released in 2011. The witcher 3 was released in 2015. Witcher 2 was definitely more polished feeling to me. I found it felt very similar to The Witcher 3.

Can someone explain the appeal to these games to me?

I did play several hours of Skyrim with some mods last year but the combat felt clunky, the loot felt like a pain in the ass to manage, and there didn’t really seem to be a good story and the world felt a bit hollow.

I do realize their age, of course, and this is an unfair comparison but I had a much greater time with Elden ring and the Witcher 3. Both those games are so dense with vast beautiful worlds.

Sure there is. Remember that guy that presented it for Microsoft and he didn’t understand why nobody else was hyped?

There’s that guy.

My Microsoft surface kept having my issues with my thunderbolt dock - screen flicker on occasion. Swap the dock, same problem. Get a new 3k Lenovo laptop, problem is gone except after some undefined amount of time my mouse and keyboard temporarily disconnect. Like for .5 seconds. Sometimes this causes my keys to repeat (“Hi, howwww are you doing” for example)

Both docks did not have this issue with the mac I was using for work lol.

Both laptops, when windows asks for my pin the pin window has no taskbar icon, it’s the default no icon image.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. So many little glitches I’ve been dealing with.

Windows 11 can lick a twat.

Oh I see this makes sense. And theoretically better performance in full screen?

Agree but then that’s extra B’s in development which I’m sure most studios dgaf about.

For this reason, “if”, by mindless self indulgence always brings me back to wipeout HD on PS3.

I had that album set and it sure was an anger for that game.

“Never wanted to dance with nobody like you!”

Yeah you’re probably right. On Linux I just Ctrl Alt right arrow to my next virtual desktop and it’s instant and seamless.

I should probably know this, but what’s the deal with full screen vs windowed full screen? What’s the difference?

Also why do people wanna play windowed? Maybe depends on the type of game…?

I think he’s earned it. I will accept. 😅.

He’s one rich guy I feel isn’t a piece of shit and has good ideas.

My gaming PC from 2019 might be technically barely faster than this (2070S in it) but I’m still inclined to buy one.

What’s convinced me is my steam deck. I couldn’t be happier with a piece of hardware as this. And if this is just a more powerful non-handheld variant that does all the same shit, I’d be open to it for sure.

Also once you buy it they’ve locked you to their platform and make their Monday back on games.

I remember having so much fun on the holidays. Candy corn monsters, Christmas themes in towns etc.

What!? I’m SHOCKED! How can you think an agentic AI OS is not better!?

Had a friend that did the same, we played the same games and I was on xp.

"New low, bundled price: Guild Wars Reforged brings Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall together for just £17.99. If you have purchased even one of the three campaigns, all of them will be unlocked through Guild Wars Reforged. And, of course, there are still no subscription fees. "

What does this mean? I bought guildwars 1 forever ago. Does this mean I don’t have to pay for it?

What. Like as in a remake of the original? I never even beat it but with it being deck verified now, I probably will play it again. I wonder if I can import my old characters somehow…

The Witcher 3 and Elden ring were massive, and I enjoyed them because the world’s were beautiful, non repetitive, and dense with unique material.

Don’t know the game but that was annoying how the article didn’t mention when it was released. What a young game lol.

Serious question, do you actually play a different game every single day?

Ah I see, my bad. It’s easy to misinterpret when Nintendo does this so often.

Another rerelease. Man Nintendo knows they can just keep the same game across 3 console and charge ridiculously for it and it will sell.

Probably. Trump will probably sue Microsoft for stealing his battle suit for video games.

Nightreign, silksong, and regular Elden ring, also using a steam deck. Gaming PC just collecting dust since I got it lol

I didn’t know what to expect when I watched the trailer, but I’m intrigued

It’s for people with more money than brains.
