Bastion was just not my cup of tea. Somehow the fighting felt too chaotic for me. I mean, it felt like it was just button mashing, no matter how much I tried to have some tactic for it.

Not saying it is a bad game, I can see why people like it. But from that point of view, no, I don’t need another Bastion.

Thanks! I think it would be great if you could include links for each. The first was impossible to find for me in the Steam Android app. Turns out the name is really just ORB. Link here https://store.steampowered.com/app/281390/ORB/

It doesn’t take much for it to happen though. They could change their license agreement with users from one day to the next.

The list:

  • Death Stranding, but everyone’s a baby
  • Metal Gear Solid, but the boxes fight back
  • Death Gear Stranding Solid

Dew It!

There’s actually some great communities on Lemmy for this sort of thing, e.g. one called random acts of gaming.

Didn’t know about Citron stuff. Time to remove it from my Steamdeck…

Was free on GOG some time ago, or maybe via Prime? Not sure how, but I got it and plan to play it sometime.

It seems silly to target a demographic that buys games rarely if that’s how you expect to make your money with the games and not the console price.

But I don’t work in sales or marketing, so I am probably wrong.

I know this is too simplistic a view but… if you run into this issue, don’t buy anything.

If you really want to play that game still, sail the high seas.

Interesting how bad online gaming got, that articles like this one exist. Content of a game you bought not vanishing after a few months is revolutionary, just wow.
