They likely signed noncompete contracts so they can’t make a different game of the same genre.

I kind of wrote Square Enix off years ago, but I’m definitely not buying anything they make in the future.
Was the sign accurate? Did it provide more than milk?
It’s almost like this hasn’t happened for the last several Borderlands releases. Like people just keep forgetting the company lies and produces sub-optimal trash at launch.
