Valve did make CSGO and other games in the past which did have heavy microtransactions though yes I do agree that other companies such as Epic Games are much more liable for this

They should sue Epic Games because Fortnite greatly popularized loot boxes and Microtransactions. Also other games which are the real culprit such as Overwatch, League of Legends, and more. Though granted Valve did make CSGO which was one of the first big games to popularize buying and selling video game skins. But of course lots of other games do it much worse like Gatcha games and mobile games.

Soon they will call it the Microsoft Gaming Experiences. “Here at Microsoft we love providing you with fantastic gaming experiences. Thus, we have decided to rename the Xbox brand to something everyone can enjoy. And AI helps us provide those experiences. So starting forward we will embrace AI in gaming in new and innovative ways!”

It’s starting to feel that way for sure! Would not surprise me if some form of AI has become sentient or already was sentient to begin with.

Hey there I heard you definitely want live service games right? Oh sorry you said remakes? No you must mean live service! /s

I watched a video about this and the game does look strikingly similar in every biome and mechanic. There are seed-based voxel games that manage to do things differently like Valheim. However, I found it ironic that they did not sue Hytale yet.

Other people have been recommending other apps and websites like Stoat and Team Speak though I am sure that a new app will use this opportunity to go viral.

Good that there are alternatives but I bet that won’t last for long. More and more apps will copy this.

Surely they do this with their own graphics cards if they have such software built into GFN then they likely have it built into their Nvidia Drivers for their hardware products?

It never occurred to me that they would. Though sadly I can’t afford a new gaming PC. My rig is from 8 or 9 years old. And the GPU was a former mining card that I rescued from ebay, lol. RX 580 8gb, 16gb DDR4 ram, and Ryzen 5 2600. Not bad but it’s showing its age with modern games. Also does not have RTX so some won’t even run like Indiana Jones. Only way to play is by streaming services. Lately been using GFN to play KCD2 and it’s actually quite good even on WiFi. Just playing it on my laptop and only occassional stuttering. Though granted I am only in the tutorial level and have not had many big battles yet. I have also tried Enshrouded and Medieval Dynasty and they work ok though it does stutter a bit.
