I have only played 1, 3, and Infinite. My halo experience has been great and I never really felt the burnout or lack of innovation.

Mario Kart 64 is unplayable to me after how much better and intuitively the Karts control in newer games.

Metroidvania tag and roguelike tags have become so diluted as descriptors I have no idea what I’m getting anymore when I see them on an “indie title”.

The indie scene isn’t anywhere close to competing with AAA despite how far it’s come. As someone who enjoys indie games, they scratch different itches.

3.5e being the best is an opinion I’ve heard for my entire life. I would say preferring 5e is a more unpopular opinion.

Didn’t Microsoft buy up a shitton of studios- killing some of them? I wouldn’t consider exclusives a good indicator of health necessarily.

Now if Nintendo released something like this I might actually enjoy the Animal Crossing series again. The dialogue in the newer games is so soulless and repetitive.
