I think when he said he was working, it may have been classic era (Dont quote me on that)

Used to love this game, then the mediocre show came out and I was so amazed I never missed an episode

You know, I was put off by a review saying the game was slow and clunky, but this does put a new perspective on it, maybe I should give it a chance

I’ll be honest In my head I always imagined the characters looking more like cube world

This, this game isnt about fighting, it’s about prepping, it’s about researching your prey and knowing what you need to get the edge on it before you go in, brewing the potions you need and knowing what to hit it with

I mean they have made it a bit more player friendly through the updates, theyve even added an auto-route that walks you to the place you set in your map. But you do have a point, though that’s what a lot of people love about the game, it’s just you, in a big city, grasping at straws and trying to figure things out any way you can

OnePlus “used” to be the unlockable phone, they changed their policy around 9 I believe

Heeey don’t hate on my cat and mouse assassination game mode

I still haven’t played it since at the time the game was poorly received, but I have friends who also love that period who swear by it as their favorite, and in the end, thats all that matters in AC, that you love the vibe, right?

AC 1 & 2, I know they’re pretty jank now and black flag stole the show, but it was entrancing for young me, it felt like I was entering another world. I would no shit just wander the world for hours just taking in the simulated culture and learning how people lived, it was so fascinating to see how life was back then. I guess that’s why AC3 bored me so much, American history is just not interesting to me as it’s so recent relatively

Yeah and a meteor could smash into your house in the next 30 minutes but I wouldn’t count on that either.

The way apps work on android is, they are compartmentalized, if you disable a system app like this, the worst that will happen is some things may get wonky, if you enable it, it will start right back up again.

It’s just a service, if it was something that tracphone wanted to absolutely keep you from disabling, they would have put it in the bootloader. It’s most likely just a marketing app that they get kickbacks for including on their phones

Edit: Here, exactly like I said. My man you got this idea of a worst case scenario in your head with absolutely no evidence

Wait undertale is only 9 years old? It feels like a lot longer

What was that older one now, with the biggest game map in the world at the time? I think dirt.

Very beautiful atmospheric game with a lonely feel but fun driving

Oh God, you thought the micro transactions in Pokemon go were bad? Just wait

Meh, I don’t see it as needing an expansion

I see, so this would be something that would be dependant on the rom developers or an interested third party to do the actual work of porting to x86.

So essentially it would be a “if you build it, they will hopefully also build it” situation

You know what I would really love? A custom rom browser.
Imagine it, not a repo, but a site or app that lets you "try out" custom roms through an embedded or emulated interface. It's such a hassle downloading and installing every rom out there to see how they feel and function, it would be nice to be able to take them out for test drives. I think this could be theoretically possible, several bluestack emulators for the most popular custom roms emulated as an instance of mostly just the lock and home screen with a few dummy apps, kind of like how things are set up in a phone shop. Unfortunately I'm not quite skilled enough to set something like this up, and I'm sure the server hosting would be a bit of a financial burden but I think this is a cool, albeit, unlikely idea.

I’m very very tentatively holding my expectations, can’t trust anyone these days

Dude just destroyed his indie rep in one fell move. Regardless of what you feel of the situation, noone wants to “talk shop” with the guy known for stealing ideas

My girlfriends 70 year old nana plays horizon zero dawn on PS4, in her words “i die a lot but I’m enjoying it”

I said “tech illiterate”, most people on here are going to primarily be using Firefox and other smaller competitors, but in the main stream world like it or not chrome is still huge

I have to disagree, edge has been a big ol’ joke since it’s conception, most non tech literate people see it and go, huh, okay time to download chrome.

Most tech literate people don’t like it for the myriad of other problems, i can’t think of a single scenario where edge dominates the market

Does anyone know why psn isn’t available in these countries in the first place?

I don’t care. AAA games have burned me too many times, I’m done with the hype

I’m here off of front page, i just noticed you getting all worked up over nothing and now I’m pushing your buttons because it’s fun for me and You’re an easy target.

I’m not personally suspecting it but the organization I’m with has reason to suspect an android phone is infected and blasting out traffic through that port. I’m just confirming it’s not me to be safe, though Im pretty sure it’s someone else, as I generally keep my phone activities to youtube

I may just wipe anyways since I’ve had issues with this rom but jeez is it gonna be a process

I’m rooted but that’s a bit overkill for what I’m trying to achieve, so far I’ve just found a traffic sniffer app and I’m manually picking out any traffic on 25, i suppose I could go home and just set something up on my router but I’m trying to do this at work

how can I monitor outgoing traffic on a specific port?
It's a very long story but ultimately all you need to know is, i have to make sure an unknown app isn't sending an assload of traffic through port 25 on any network im connected to. How can I confirm this on my android device without an external PC?

Instability on OnePlus 8 pro with lineageOS?
I'll be honest, I think for OnePlus 8 pro, and I know no other phone that this applies to. That the stock OS is the best one, not the features or customizability, but OPPO did something where it's way more stable than any custom rom I can get installed. since I've installed lineage, I constantly run into issues where stuff stutters when switching certain apps, double clicking my camera hotkey or changing lenses will crash the camera app, and I don't have access to the slow motion camera function in anywhere near the way the stock camera app works. I'm really annoyed at all these problems and I know it's technically an "old" phone, but I'm so sick of reflashing and reinstalling stuff. Does anyone have any advice?

My OnePlus 8 pro finally crapped out, need new phone suggestions
Hey y'all, my OnePlus 8 pro is donezo, ling story short it got major damage that I just didn't even see happen but it was on its way out regardless. Now the reason I got a OnePlus is because when I first got them, they were the pinnacle of "moddable phones" any root or rom you could think of it was basically built to be rooted. Now though from what I hear the company has decided to go in a different direction, real shame. So now that I'm back in the market for a new phone ow as wondering if y'all had any suggestions. What's the most open source droid out there nowadays?
