I’m a lot of things, but not a Velociraptor

Nintendo is probably the worst offender here because not only they release games at insane prices, but they rarely discount them more than a 10%. Years after the release, their games still cost the same.
Worst of all is that they proved it works, people keep buying their games and the nintendo shills will always give you a 2-hour essay if you ever dare to complain about their pricing policy in front of them. Never seen a worse fanbase in the videogaming community.

That’s completely on the publisher. And they do it because, sadly, they get away with it thanks to mindless customers.
Nobody ever hesitates to pay such money for a game, so why would the publisher even try to lower the price? If they’re selling well at 80€, why lower it to 50€?
For me to pay more than 30€ for a videogame, it really has to be THE game. And it rarely is. Most of the time, I can wait a few months and get it at a honest price. Heck, even paying 30€ for a game it’s already something that I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally consider carefully. Past the 20€ it has to be a great game for me to pay for it.

You don’t need to watch this or that streamer to live. You can ditch them and do something else. The streamer goes where the money is. If they start seeing people don’t use twitch anymore, they will switch to whatever platform the audience wants. But alas, the audience seems to enjoy ads this way so…
This is self inflicted pain and people enjoy it.

What I find stupid is that people will keep using it after all the shit they are doing. I mean, it’s twitch, you can live without it. And yet, people will accept this bullshit and keep going because the alternative of changing platform is just too bothersome for them. In the end, I’m starting to think we have the internet we deserve.

Even that is gonna become a problem to find in a few months. I’m fucked because my computer is due for an upgrade (built futureproof, which allowed me to go for almost 10 years without upgrades) but now it’s showing signs of aging. I’m probably getting a steam machine in the first batch even if it costs a thousand because I am certain that thousand will turn into two or even three in the next year (if it’s even possible to find)

So unexpected! Who could have thought that making such an unique game would end like this?
I mean, this is a shooter where people choose a hero with an unique loadout and set of skills and battle with therr team against another team of these heroes.
We could call it… idk… Hero Shooter! I’m sure I haven’t seen a game like this before!

My 10 years old computer is already giving me signs of failure. If in the next months it dies, do you really think I’m gonna find 16gb ram at decent prices? Or a recent graphic cards under 200€? I’ll have to add one new motherboard too because mine being old means it won’t support much of what I’ll have to install.
As of today, if I want to keep the budget of my pc under a reasonable price, I’ll have to settle with something that probably won’t be able to output the last battlefield at 4k120fps.
But you know what? That’s fine, because I’m confident enough with the size of my dick not to need a computer that lets me brag about dumb numbers.

my desktop, functional as it is, lets me play modern games, but it’s old enough to not have tpm so I couldn’t be able to play the game on it.
My steam deck with linux is not even on the table with these requirements.
I was going to be upset but then I saw it’s a f2p hero shooter of sorts? I suppose it will be ai slopware with extremely predatory practices and an absolute cesspool userbase. I’ll be fine without it.
I’d say a very good decoration would be a black scorpion fighting a golden eagle next to a tiberium crystal.
